There's something magical about these old martial arts films. No CGI, just real people with near superhuman skills. Thanks for uploading and just subbed!
@@hiddenleafbeats Lu Feng played the no. 1 in Masked Avengers. His spear skills were also superb. At their levels, it is hard to decide who is better. It may come down to artistry vs who is more effective in real combat.
He was tbh in invincible Shaolin he had trouble against no6 Chiang Shiang who was one of the main anti villains and the first fight kuo chui loses then at the end he does beat chiang shiang and is the reason why he dies but that too cause chiang shiang was hesitating to fight back in the end both of them team up to fight the main boss but both end up dying at the climax with the other venoms only 2 escape and survive out of the 6 venoms!
He is my favorite Shaw brothers player I was sold when he knocked the candle off the table inThe Five Venoms when he found out that they set him up.A great athlete actor. and coreographer. Kou Choi. is the best!
YES!! They smacked it out the park on that one. The most fight scene was superb especially the treacherous no 2 chief who descended down on his pedestal. His display was THE best after all that trident twirling, the final move to raise his foot, BAAAD!! Rewind rewind!!!
I agree they were absolutely amazing. the lizard and centipede however were incredible in skill and fighting prowess. The fact that they choreographed all the fight scenes in the venom mob movies is legend. RIP 6th venom "Cutie Pie" as he was lovingly called by his fellow cast and crew. The death of your wife took you from us but you will live forever in your youthful glory in these classic films.
One of my favorite fist of fury "Five Deadly Venoms" crew which i've collected almost 25 to 30 movies that he's acted. Great action pack worth watching
The speed and precision of these choreographed fights are amazing considering the time. And the high acrobatics were impressive considering these were done without wires. 2:30
This one is very good. They're outstanding in their game. When they practice Kuo Chui, the fighting styles are remarkable for justification. Their skills are super hot. As long as they know what's right for them. They can do everything invisible in any battle and conflict. It makes it perfect for everyone. No matter what kind of style they master.
I want to THank You for A Tribute to My Favorite Venom; Lizard, Aka Kuo Chui. I Don't celebrate Christmas but I respectfully wish you a happy holiday. Keep making Good Material to share.
If you liked this then you'll love, I hope, you'll love the tribute to Centipede-Lu Feng. Just type in Lu Feng tribute and it should show. It's truly a brilliant montage by Hurang.
@@marklawrence76 Then maybe you should see it for the 101st time. It's Lu Feng who I'm referring to......and that is him who is The Centipede. Trust me on this okay;))
@@johnhuddleston8647 the video is about Kuo Chui not Lo Meng and my statement wasn't a contest of who's the best venom. You're statement is weird and weirdly timed so you're just blowing hot air
@@marklawrence76 Well, I'm not going to keep going back and forth on this with you. It's not that big of a deal really. NOBODY is forcing you to believe that it's The Centipede. If you want to believe it was The Toad, then be my guest. We're just going to have to agree to disagree :)
I think it was channel 29 philadelphia for me. My dad and I used to watch it together he loved Hai Tao also his name from The kid with the Golden Arms..
I was in love with Kuo Chui when I was 12 years old. The very first movie I saw him in was the masked Avengers and I watched it over and over Andover Andover Andover over Andover over and over and over and over until there was no more over again and I begged them to Play It Again for the next 3 months when this new cable network called w h t the very next movie I saw him in that was astonishing for me what's the crippled Avengers he was so awesome and both of these movies my favorite of course being the masked Avengers next to crippled Avengers and then the five then the five deadly venoms yes baby Nobody Does it Like run run show run run Shaw and the Shaw Brothers oh yes baby that's my boy that's my niggga
I can't manage u a lot of over for u am a kung-fu baby and I sat and watch five k. f. one time and the name run Shaw run it was to see all those cities hard to choose. Iron flags nice too.
@@moreloveWhyte Ive watched loads of Kung Fu movies, i grew up watching them with my granddad, i love Wu Tang and how they use samples of classic Kung Fu movies, the Tai Chi white haired kung fu masters are my favorite cause i think they look sick.
chieftech714 Kuo Chui,Lu Feng and Chiang Sheng were responsible for most of the choreography in their films. With their Peking Opera backround they were very coordinated and could match each other's rhythm move for move.
Man this guy never ceases to amaze me. When he and the centipede (👈the only name I know him by) preform together it's like Twins fighting. If there ever came a time when wars are settled by fist alone we easterners would be building their crap.
YOU PEOPLE ARE AMAZING. I SAW THIS GUY IN SO MANY FILMS AND NEVER KNEW HIS NAME CAUSE I CAN'T READ CHINESE! YOU KNOW HIS NAME AND HIS FILMS NAMES IT IS JUST AMAZING. tHE CHINESE DOING THE SAME THING N=NOW, SENDING FILMS OVER HERE AND THEY DON'T TELL PEOPLE NAMES AND THEY DON'T EVEN DUB THE FILMS. GREAT FILMS BIT ITS HARD TO BE POSITIVE WHEN THEY CARE IS YOUK NOW WHAT'S GOING ON OR NOT.
Yes I love it when my coworker put me on to Five Venoms in like 94’ it started a trend and I have been watching them ever since. From Chang Cheh films and the Five Venom Mob. The Acrobatics and great Kung Fu skill I even was inspired to take Kung Fu
Back in the 80's me and my friends goes to 42nd Street and 7th Ave in NYC to the movies to look at the short Brothers and ocean shore Kung Fu movie 🍿 we used to call him high toe so when the started to come out on VHS tapes and on every single movie we see him We called him high toe from five deadly venoms no matter what movie he plays in he would be one of the best in sure Brothers 🤸🏼♂️🤼 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👌🏾🤘🏾🤟🏾💯😁🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
This dude was MEGA-BAD!! Even though Bruce was as BIG as he was, you had to respect these guys skills and performance!! If you look at how beautiful and precise his choreography was, nothing but pure, pure ART! The Shaw Brothers characters are LEGEND!! It hurts my heart that those guys are all older now and you will never get to see these characters perform again in such classic movies like 5 Deadly Venoms, Masked Avengers, Golden Arm, Crippled Avengers, etc. But there are over 30 Classic Shaw Brothers films to look at so I guess I'll never be tired of them! Poison Clan Rocks The World.....
These guys were acrobatics and the guy who played Toad actually studied the mantis fist for 13 years on top of getting their start from being stunt actors, they have payed their dues.
In America, action stars get credit for what mainly stunt people do,...but these guys, look like the real deal! Whatever they got paid, they deserve that times 10!
Guys you need to remember that most of these guys where very skill in their art , some where real masters others just very acrobatic and learn the moves
Philip Kwok Chow Fung aka Kuo Chui was the most versatile member of the Venom Mob. He could do it all...Acrobatics,weaponry,shapes,acting,choreography and even directing. He's also the most active member today still behind the scenes doing fight choregraphy/action coodinator for films like The Touch,Tomorrow Never Dies,Brotherhood of the Wolf, and of course Hard Boiled. He was first recognized by Sifu Lau Kar Leung (R.I.P.) on the set of Bloody Rebellion and was said to be a major talent with a future. Sifu Lau couldn't have been more correct.
I need some chicken and waffles or the first movie and then some spaghetti and fish for the second movie and some popcorn too!! And a ginger ale soda while watch for the rest of the afternoon.
Ten tigers movie will be shown on the EL Rey channel on Sunday 7th June morning. Channel 198 on Verizon. Check listing for time. Followed by The Master starring Chen Kuan-tai. Kwok is not in it but another good kung fu classic
He's my favorite venom of all. Appreciate the upload but you didn't include his best ones like Ten Tigers From Kwangtung, Avenging Warriors of Shaolin, Invincible Shaolin, Magnificent Ruffians, or Killer Army lol
