Unless you've read the book then stop trashing this movie. The book is wonderful and even inspired me to become an organ donor. The trailer DOES NOT show all that happens and it is NOT a "rip off" of the Notebook. It has its similarities, yes, as does all of Sparks' work. But it is not completely the same..

In the book it says, that the young-Dawson looks much older than the other boys in his age. That was one reason Amanda fell in love with him. He wasn't like the other stupid guys who thougt they were funny by doing stupid things.

No one has really mentioned this... but is it only me that thinks young Dawson looks completely different to his older self... like completely different people! I mean yeah he's gotten older, but at least older Amanda has some resemblance to younger Amanda. I mean, older Dawson just looks different! Anyways it was a good movie and I loved it.

Kailee Theresa you could see the ring on her finger in the trailer when they were at the table, and you see her husband driving away from her, which im guessing is the guy that the DEA was arresting or somethin because he did look like him...and that they either end up together or one of them dies. Only way its a shocking ending is if one of them had a sex change in that 20 year timeskip, otherwise its pretty predictable shawty

i guess you do see her husband drive away for like 2 seconds. i only saw it like the fourth time i watched the trailer. and her husband is not the one who gets arrested. and you won't be able to guess how it ends, i'm just going to leave it at that. i enjoyed the book and the trailer, and i'm sure i will enjoy the movie as well.

i cried so freaking hard at the end, for sure the most ive ever cried while watching a movie, and people i cry during every emotional film. at first i didn't like young Dawson but he really grew on me, like alot lol. by the end i was rooting for them so hard. and then yeah i wont spoil it but something happens and literally my heart couldnt take it. i was legit yelling at my phone saying, " why cant i watch one movie with a happy ending!" it was such a good movie and i would for sure recommend it, i havent gotten it out of my head since i saw it yesterday and i might see it again today lol.

I watched this movie when I was 9. It was during the summer and I was sleeping downstairs at about 2 am my mom came down and we watched this movie together. This movie was such a good movie and it was such a good memory to just watch this with my mom. This movie touched me in a way no other had before in my 9 years of existence. Great movie 10/10

I just got done watching this movie, and I have never cried over a movie like I did this one. I did cry to Titanic though lol. but seriously, this movie is probably the best romantic movie I've ever seen. I mean, it actually made me cry, and I had a huge knot in my throat. I don't care what people say, I loved this movie! Yes it's predictable and very typical Nicholas Sparks, but what can I say, it was cheesy as hell and it was amazing. I particularly liked the scenes with the younger Dawson and Amanda, for the first time in a while it really gave me the whole 'warm and fuzzy' feeling you're supposed to feel when you see movies like this. Maybe it's because I'm slightly in love with Luke Bracey.. Who knows!

- THIS MOVIE IS SO FREAKING GOOD. I usually don't cry about movies, it's very rare but this one made me cry numerous times and it wasn't always because of sadness, but just the amount of love that I felt from the actors. There was just so much emotion and just UGH. To be honest, I like this one wayyyyy better than the notebook. I don't care what anyone else has to say about this movie. To me, IT WAS BEYOND AMAZING. It literally made me feel like I was in the movie experiencing it myself. It gave me the feels of having "the one." 😭 20 FREAKING STARS!!!!! If that's even possible... Which it's not... But I just took it there so yeah.

The movie was an utter disappointment to the book. More than the little bits were missing!!!! and also the guy playing young Dawson looks older the than the supposed older Dawson lol

I just finsihed reading the books and just got done crying, and now I watch the trailer and I'm crying all over again. I've read Message in a Bottle and The Lucky One but this one made me actually cry.

That movie killed me guys, BEST MOVIE EVER. I have a napkin in my hand right now. It kind of reminded me of the notebook but I really like the love story. It's great.

Trust me guys there is so much more to the movie, the trailer only gives off some parts which i love. This movie is amazing, i would rate is 10/10 for performance and storyline. I was literally in tears near the end.

Yeah really. It's not as bad as the movie 17 Again. Besides the fact they didn't at all look alike, the younger Zac Efron has blue eyes and the older one had brown. 😂😂
