😂😂 I’ve always hated Mr. Resetti. When I was a little kid (like 5-6) I had wild world and being a little kid accidentally let my game die without saving or something like that all the time. Mr. Resetti kept getting meaner and meaner and eventually made me hand write an apology letter to him, but being little and not being able to spell he just kept yelling at me to get it right no matter how hard I tried. I ended up crying and taking the game to my mom so she could write the message. 😂😂 kinda funny looking back on it, but still don’t like the guy.

Yeah, sure, the reset awareness aspect is cool and all but Can we all just appreciate the strange fondness Resetti seems to get towards the player? Reminding them to take care of themselves, and taking on a sort of strict parental role in his scoldings He does seem to like the player, even if they annoy him to no end.

This game was so quick witted, unpredictable and unique. Resetti, the mean villagers, the dialogue, all amazing qualities of the game with a lot of player interaction and so many possibilities. I love new horizons but nothing will beat the humor of the original animal crossing

The mean villagers are really the missing piece in New Horizons. Nothing like having a piece of furniture stolen from you to really make you reach for that reset button. Only to then IMMEDIATELY be tirelessly lectured and berated by the angriest mole ever.

God, I miss Resetti. I'd do this too and just reset over and over just to get a reaction out of him. I adored him and was pissed when they made him optional in NL. He was an integral part of the save-scumming experience.

@@gizmothedoge5803 i would say flowey is worse since he has more sinister/evil dialogue and mocks you for resetting (e.g. killing toriel and then undoing it) I think the reason why resetti comes off as more harsh is because most of us were kids when we played animal crossing while with undertale, we were teenagers/adults. resetti scolds you hard, but he has good intentions. i would be pissed as well if i kept telling someone to do something and they did the exact opposite instead

I disagree. Unlike Resetti, Don (subtly) threatened you with physical harm. He's like the chill mobster that's still super dangerous. "The Resettis suggest givin' up your resettin' ways... for health reasons. Got it?" That's mob-speak for 'knock it off or we'll break your kneecaps'.

@@CyrusLagom it's possible, but the phrasing is EXTREMELY mob-style. "The Resettis", "recommend", "for health reasons", "got it?" (Capisce?). All classic mob phrasings 101. Plus the 'nice guy' who is actually really dangerous is a classic mobster archetype. The words he says are kind, but his behavior and the way he says them say otherwise. Plus he drops the facade at the end when he tells you to scram.

I know this is definitely an unpopular opinion but I actually never disliked or was afraid of Mr. Resetti- I found him absolutely hilarious and the way he lost his temper was kind of endearing! Like, he's a big grump but he means well and I just can't dislike him, lol. He's given me a lot of laughs. Thanks for uploading this!

Except ACNH actually can’t detect if you time travel or not, so that would be impossible But, it can detect backwards time travel (which is why that spoils your turnips) so maybe if it did that then it would be possible...

(I dont know if this is actually real beacause it happend when I was way younger) One day with my little brother we were bored of reseti. He always come scream at us beacause our DS was old and started crashing for no reason. So we reseted during is dialogue and instantly restarted the game. He scream at us like : "**DID YOU REALLY TURNED OF THE DS WHILE I WAS TALKING ??!??**" I died of laughter but he asked us to do an excuse letter and my little brother cried beacause he was thinking he couldn't play again.
