People that are confused: She’s hated because people are saying she’s promoting being a “trad wife” which she is not. She just makes everything from scratch and shares her recipes online, she’s also a model . She is employed, this is her job, sorry y’all are jealous and mad.
No, people are making fun of her because when your hungry kid asks you for food you can't make them wait 4 hours to make cereal from scratch. If you like to make everything from scratch you have to prepare everything from the day before or wake up really early but she just make their kids wait hours.
As an actual person that makes things from scratch, this is highly set up. This is all fake for clout. Her chocolate ganache didn't magically set up. People with actual degrees have a hard time making chocolate temper.
I dont know why many people hate her for cooking all from scratch, I really thought that many people did this, I come from Argentina, over here is not common to buy everything from stores because is considered unhealthy so we do most things like this. She is so relaxing
They are just jealous…the gurl got everything she is beautiful talented smart happily married great mom people can’t stand it they love when everything is about misery
She's a Trad Wife. That's why. A clever new way to promote that women should go back to where they're supposed to be - the kitchen. Don't fall into the trap
I think the hate is mostly because people compare themselves with her. She’s not attacking anyone, doesn’t say that you are a bad mom/wife if you don’t do things like her. If your day doesn’t look like hers that’s okay. Everybody is different. If you are triggered by her videos just don’t watch them, why the hate? And don’t degenerate yourself, you are not a bad mom/wife if you cook with things bought in store. As long as you love the people in your life, give them support and want them to be healthy and happy you are doing great!
@@estefaniamejia8448 haha😂 thanks, but I would be probably hated by a lot of people and I am still trying to heal my people pleaser side 😄 but your comment made me smile so thanks for that 😁
The reason people hate her is because mothers who have back pain and sleepless nights see her making cereal from scratch with her perfect husband and it’s infuriating
@@sheluvssmokedupeyes1cooking ….shes COOKING for her family like any one who loves their family would do. These dumbass think pieces about her are stupid
Hiiii I’ve noticed a lot of comments wondering why people hate on Nara Smith- to my understanding, people believe she is supporting unrealistic expectations for mothers, especially middle or lower class mothers, single mothers, new mothers, etc. (not my opinion just what I’ve heard myself)
People forget that she does not dress and cook like this every day! She’s a content creator. I’m sure she sets aside specific filming days It’s all about the aesthetic content……
Nara obviously only portraits a very specific image of her, she wants to be seen in a very specific light and she’s highly strategic and manipulative about it. I genuinely believe that only people who healed from mental abuse can see through her Fassade. Why do you guys find it ok for online influencers to lie about their life and portray it as perfect? By saying that her content is ,normal‘ and that it’s just ,what every influencer does, they just portray everything nice about them‘, you are saying that you are ok with being lied at, and that people do not need to be truthful to themselves and to you. I personally appreciate honesty and authenticity, and I want people to be real with me. Nara is neither being honest nor authentic by hiding the fact that she is dependent on a whole team of cutters, cleaners and Nannie’s. I do not for one second want to be in her shoes, nor do I want to have what she has. I do not want a husband who never cooks for me in return, I do not want to pay other people for cooking for my family, when that means they don’t get to spend time with their own families. I do not need a kitchen like that and I do not see any practical value in being perfectly dressed for cooking or not having my sleeves rolled up. I do not need to buy a Louis Vuitton Bag or a second MacBook to make me feel happy and satisfied with my life (she has posted a vid like that) I actually find her life sad. If a person needs to buy expensive designer bags and other items of luxury brands (kitchen items) they do not really feel fulfilled, they are compensating for something that is missing in their life. If she only feels like she is worth something by being of value to her husband and serving others constantly, she is hurting herself by overworking herself for others. This woman is not emotionally fulfilled. People who do not find her content worrisome are ok with being lied at. If you thing she is just ‚minding her business‘, and you feel good by justifying her behavior, you probably think you are being empathetic and you are very likely prone to sympathize with abusers. The reason I am writing this is not because I want to prove people who like her wrong. It’s because I am concerned for the people who like and defend her. Please be save from manipulation and abuse. Because if it’s easy for you to be manipulated and deceived, it will be easy for you to be abused. I hope that you guys don’t have to learn the hard way and that you develop and eye for people portraying themselves in a ,perfect‘ way
My Mother and 5 much older Siblings cooked from scratch and taught me 💝. It's faster than going out to eat and you may have leftovers so you only cook one to three times a day depending on the schedule you have. 💪💪🏽💪🏾💝💝💝💙🙏🏽🙏🙏🏼🙏🏾. Cooking is A Gift
When I was 22-49 I did this and at 26 had a 48 hour a week Job at a Bakery and Loved Work and Still did All this for my Husband, Children, Family and Friends 💝💝💝💝. I didn't make cereal from scratch☺️. And those things I did then are still appreciated today. They are Able to be Self Sufficient and Take Care of Themselves and others do to me teaching them to do everything because of Love and Thankfulness to have food to cook💝💙💝💙💝💙🙏🏽🙏🙏🏼🙏🏾
I wanted to understand the fuss all the kids have been talking about. I can’t imagine why anyone would think she is glamorizing anything except her work uniforms. Maybe because Im a touche older, but this woman clearly has a J.O.B.! A career, if you will, bring the Chef de Cuisine at Chez La Smith. I’ve just started this video and said “absolutely not”at least 10 times to her work load. Even with help, all the shopping and cleaning and then caring for kids, while up keeping herself to look presentable and edit these videos. Stay in school kids…this is labor. Kudos to her for making this look easy but it most certainly is not. BUT she is showing transferable skills if she ever wanted to move to the organized workforce - Time management, sanitation, culinary, visual arts, marketing, etc.. She’s a smart young lady. 4:22
People are jealous and that makes them say ugly things about people, I think she’s amazing and I love watching her and her family the cooking videos are what caught my attention, but I love watching her videos
yall. i didnt really engage with her content before, and just heard that people dislike her content for some reason but this is nice?? like whats the problem with someone just sharing recipes. yes sure shes rich, but a lot of people are. shes doing fun recipes and isnt trying to say she is better than anyone, i vibe with it, idc
Sheri Sheppard mentioned you & before her, I'd never heard of you... But Man, I'm inspired and Also a New Follower! What a way to remove yourself from all the extra additives that many products have, just make it from scratch! I Thank you sooo much for sharing yourself with millions of viewers! ASA I'm blessed with time, I'm gonna try your "From Scratch" recipes! Ingredients I can pronounce 😊
She's so chilled out- idk much about her (tiktok is banned here) but she seems kind of normal? Like home-makes everything yeah but doesn't police anyone (see buffalo wings, grilled cheese) and isn't super strict about the perfectness of things. Maybe she is secretly an insane tradwife or something I obviously haven't seen any other videos but she seems fine.
I want the recipe for some of these! She should have a cookbook! And also, she used canned tomatoe paste lol, so it means not everthing is from scratch csuse she's human!
I think she truly enjoys cooking for her husband because he can give her a beautiful mansion and and comfortable life style. I think I would be cooking and much more stress free ❤😂
I don't see the big deal, this chick likes making laid back cooking videos, so she got her a man that let's her do that, that's his and her affair and no one else's, people just love to jawbone over EVRYTHING. Just sit back and enjoy it like asmr or something.
people have really turned the whole idea of her into something else completely! this is my first time actually seeing her videos and i see nothing harmful about them or her at all, she probably doesnt even do these every day.. maybe bulk film them or every couple of days, you can tell its more for special occasions, cravings and random little moments. its a hobby and probably also some income so like… wouldnt you do it too? and wouldnt you like to eat less processed, more organic, overall healthier, yummier homecooked food? for yourself and your family? bfr ppl are just jealous ps. you can tell its not everyday specially bc she does meal preps
I think the people who think the critique is because she makes things from scratch are missing the thought process. It’s a bigger conversation about who has the time for this kind of domestic work (because not many full time homemakers have capacity for this for many reasons), who has the money to cook things regularly this way, and the fact that there are almost definitely domestic workers supporting her with childcare. All of which are fine but are also always missing from her content to give an illusion about how she’s able to do this
True, but still no reason to get all huffy and puffy about it. Honestly even if I had the time, energy, funds to do this, I still know my ass would be getting take out lol,so I can't be mad.
Bro what? My mom has two kids and makes things from scratch all the time with NO paid help. My auntie both of them actually have 6 kids and more hella stuff from scratch everyday with NO husband or the kids father in the picture. Y’all are just lazy asf to assume she has paid help and even if she did what would be the problem? She doesn’t have to show you whose in card of HER children that dangerous
There is a lot of love for her as well as a lot of hate. Let’s try some perspective. She was able to turn a beloved childhood past time of dress up and playing house into a profitable career. Great job and bravo for that, genuinely! We should all hope for ourselves and our children to turn what gives them joy into a profitable lifestyle. However don’t beat yourself up if you can’t make your reality look like her carefully curated content. Give yourself some grace. You show up! You try your best! You are more than enough! ❤
I genuinely started watching Nara to see how the "other side" lives, I immediately knew she was extremely wealthy and probably has help, so I'm so confused as to why people think she would be "relatable" she's literally a rich model married to a another rich model 😂 (I loved Lucky as a teen girl and now as an adult I love his wife)
I don’t watch her videos, I don’t have TIkTok, but if I did, it would be for entertainment and that’s all. Any mother, especially with three young children, knows this is not realistic. There are nannies and camera people on the scene. 🎬
I've never heard of this woman until a few people mentioned her in a vlog I was watching last week. Who cares if she allegedly has a team, the food is still being made from scratch and it's impressive. It's not a big deal in my country, because a lot of us make our meals from scratch.
People keep commenting in her videos that those of us who don’t buy it’s her “reality” say we are all just jealous. Here’s the thing. I already raised my kids. I can make just about anything from scratch and make it taste amazing. I have nothing to be jealous about. But I’ll tell you - it’s dangerous to portray that this is reality to people who are insecure in their new roles as mothers or wives. It sets them up to feel like failures and that’s just not cool. If you want to have a “from scratch” cooking show then great - just don’t claim your “pristine kitchen, hours and hours of free time, perfect clothing, full makeup and hair, and making scratch ingredients to add to your from scratch recipes and always pleasing your man” to be your reality because it’s not. That’s not me being jealous - that’s me calling out someone’s dishonesty.
I really like this because I cook very similarly. I didn’t realize that this is the reason my girlfriends give me the side eye and hide their frozen food packages from me. Lol. I don’t judge them. I just do this because my grandma used to cook like this and I learned from her…and I find it only marginally more difficult than cooking from a box…
I mean chefs on the food network make bank doing exactly this except they have producers telling them what to etc whereas she is doing it her way which is awesome
She's not a trad wife at all, is she? This is just like a nice cooking video. Has she actually said anything about being a "trad wife"? I feel like the internet is massively mis-selling her!
My mother's been cooking meals from scratch for over 4 decades, and she stays clean. Her kitchen is always clean. Her daughters, us, learned from that too.
I don’t get the hate she gets? So what she makes her food from scratch i don’t see the problem. Most people are germaphobic so they prefer to make their food themselves at home cause you honestly don’t know what is going on in the back of the kitchens restaurant when they prepare your food. And making it by scratch is way more healthier
