@@HanleyReillyHRvideos Holy shit, no way. I was wondering about the seats and if the mounting is shored up at all... I guess you answered that question! Do the rules allow for the mounting of a racing seat if so desired? Some of these hits are so tremendous Id be concerned about the seat ripping loose. I thought the rope acted like a side net to arrest the head from snapping too far over. Thanks for the reply.
mikedehoogh black flag race photos no racing seats are allowed in bangers other formulas the rules vary but with bangers it has to be the standard car seat or another normal seat but usually are bolted to the floor some also weld fixings from seat to floor where possible and strap it to the cage behind and few have the rope you mentioned
@@HanleyReillyHRvideos No racing seats to keep cost down I suppose. The T-bone @ 8:00 makes it pretty clear no side bars are run across the doors. Are those not allowed either? I'm just blown away by the rudimentary safety standards considering the high speeds and massive blows. I'd like to get into racing Bangers when I move back to Holland but I'd need a bit of a cage around me to feel comfortable...
mikedehoogh black flag race photos there is firm safety rules in place there’s a big bar on the drivers side of the outside which runs from the a pillar to just past the b pillar which can be 10mm-20mm thick depending on drivers choice and there’s a H frame inside to stop the roof caving in on a roll and it has side bars to prevent a lot of the car moving but depending on the speeds the side bars may bend on impact
