Why isn’t this video just 3 hours of Detective Pikachu Returns, the Game of the Decade? But really, despite the rough start 2023 has been with all of RU-vid’s shenanigans, this year has definitely been my personal favourite with all the amazing series such as Tears of the Kingdom, Mario Kart, the Green Screen Movie Nights and the many Pokemon videos from the BW2 Nuzlocke to the Scarlet and Violet DLC’s all while being part and modding for this amazing community and wish it could never change! *2023 has been truly been such a RU-vid.*

Me and a group of People have been working on a Choose Your Own Adventure type of video series for a future greenscreen night! We are basically done and gonna submit it soon so hopefully y’all’s gonna like it! We spent 4 months working on it. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to do this with the greenscreen stream Dan! Hi! This project sounds AMAZING and I can't wait for it!! Sadly I am here both to celebrate and to deliver a warning: make sure when you finally post your project that you name it something OTHER than "Choose your own Adventure" -- the guy who made those books originally has copyrighted the phrase and is very trigger happy on the ole' claim and sue buttons :(

I have only just realized after finishing this video that I've been watching Dan since middle school. Almost six years. That is, honestly, insane to me. I start my first semester of college in just over a week and I *know* that this channel's content will continue to be part of my life through it. Thank you to Cloe and Wolfzie for help making this channel as lovely as it is, I know it wouldn't be the same without the art and the editing from the two of them. And, of course, thank you to Daniel RTGame for quite literally everything you've done for your viewers. You continue to surprise me with how unique some of your ideas are, especially when it comes to IRL content. IRL Powerwashing, a date with Chat, bathtub stream, playing City Skylines over a highway, and that's just a few. Whether these ideas were uniquely yours or not, it is the simple fact that it is something you have done for the sake of doing it. I am obviously not talking about 2023 alone, but all of your content since you started streaming more games. You are intelligent. You are creative. You are brave. You are Daniel RTGame, and you are a RU-vid. See you in 2024 :)

There’s no particularly good way of monetarily supporting you outside Twitch, so this will have to do. Either way I want to point out the insane consistency you have managed to uphold in what must be over half a decade by now. I feel like over the years louder and more “in your face” type editing has more or less become the standard and while there's not necessarily anything wrong with that, it's not quite for me. So having your videos remain comparatively minimalistic, while still high effort, has been a continuous breath of fresh air. I forget which video it was, and I unfortunately can’t find it (hope it's not something I've made up) but in one of your update vlogs quite a few years back you talk about how you wanted your videos to not depend on trends or time specific styles but instead be more of a retelling that you many years from now can look back on and be genuinely proud of. Seeing you still stick with that sentiment several years later is really great, especially in an environment such as this. You and Cloé make a fantastic team, congrats on making it through 2023 despite the initial difficulties and good luck with whatever nonsense RU-vid hopefully isn't about to throw at you

Just started watching, I bet this version is a "special cut" where _every_ swear is RU-vidd (whereas the original videos, he leaves one or two of the curses in). If it gets demonetized regardless, that's _proof_ that YT is out to get him and proves his original hypothesis about "trying to make RU-vid consider their own name a swear".

i'm always so happy to watch these best of rtgame videos. to me it's almost like looking through family photos and remembering all the fun times we shared. you're my favourite content creator and i like how you're so nice but also genuine, even if it means not being as "nice". you're one of the few content creators that I keep coming back to just because you and your content make me so happy. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and happy times Drift King :)) . Don't worry Cloé I didn't forget about you. you dedicate your time to not only capturing the best bits of steams but enhancing the quality of content with editing. Without you we may not have as much content from Dan, if any at all. Your work doesn't go unnoticed. Also shout out to Wolfzie, it takes time designing icons, assets, and animations. You've managed to make things on brand while incorporating inside jokes and making it pleasing to the eye. Thanks to the gang for such a RU-vid year!

Always nice to have something to watch like this on my break. This year has both been great and anxiety-inducing for me, as I have moved to a completely new country for work (from Australia to Canada), so it's been quite the RU-vid of a year (take that as you will). Having something to blow off steam and to just laugh away the stress from a day of work in a place I barely know has really helped, and I have to thank you and many other amazing streamers for making entertainment, whether Twitch and RU-vid incentivise you properly to do so or not. Hope you have a nice holidays and see you next year!

2023 was an awesome year of RTGaming. Dave the Diver and Wallace and Gromit were definite highlights for me, I kept coming back to the Daisy vid, 96-track challenge, and more though. Another favorite (bc it went underappreciated by me last year) was Bugsnax. Thanks again Dan, you're the best.
