He is not merely a comedian, he is a preacher. He preaches in a very humorous way. He exposes the ills of society without offending anyone. He reprimand humanity for ingratitude and lack of appreciation for all the things they enjoy and lack of compassion, but he does it in most subtle and very funny way. Very few people possess such a gift.
For all of us in the rich world, Africans are always so humorous, whether they are at a fish stall, or just a street vendor relating a story, they just know how to make you laugh. This guy is just one of the millions, but he is polished and can arouse a wide array of audiences.
This guy is an ambassador, using his jokes and the BGT platform to tell the truth about oppression, racism, and the current state of the world, genius.
Reminds me of Dick Gregory, the comedian from back in the 60's & 70's. During the early days of the Civil Rights movement, he had White folks cracking up about their privilege and the injustices of segregation to the Black community. A spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down. 😉😁
I am a MALAWIAN and couldn't be more proud of this guy. Watched a thousand times and every time I STILL laugh so hard as if am watching it for the first time
When I saw Daliso Chaponda for the very first time I never laughed so much in my entire life and when Amanda pressed the golden buzzer I cried for him because he truly deserved it bless him.
He is hilarious but best part about him is he is a very well learned man. It reflects on his jokes they are funny and witty at the same time. Speaks of many troubling issues in a very fluid manner
And he makes racist jokes acceptable again, very clever how he gets away with it and gets the socially awkward crowd to laugh and applaud as well, lol!!!🖖😁
@@siddharth2754 After that he said, "Can you imagine a poor guy in Mumbai calls up his bank and ends up talking to a Birmie(A person from Birmingham). "
@@Excomrade foreigners think that India is a country of call centers... Like everyone in India works there only..... Yes it is a joke on INDIA... and we need to change this image.
I adore this man. He's born to be a comic, to make us laugh, to reveal our humanity. He's EVERYTHING I hope for in a comedian. Cheering for you, Daliso, from way over here in LA!
He's funny. I've seen people making dirty jokes and saying harsh words to be funny. But this is an example of making jokes in a positive clean way. This is what the world needs. It literally teaches you to be greatful for the small things.
For us Asian pacific, that not comedian because 100% not funny. If you watch Asian comedian if u not laugh is impossible. 100% comedian not joke like europe and american, not funny but laugh hahha
It’s almost impossible to be a stand up comedian without using curse words, or trying to shock people with the most over the top nasty jokes. Not only is this guy likable but he’s clean and hilarious and hilarious and totally pulls off the first “clean act” in years and I could watch him with my kids in the same room without worrying about what they may hear.
Yeh. He is not just telling the TRUTH. HE IS CREATING AWARENESS OF OTHERS. I HOPE HE RECREATES MORE HUMANITY FOR THOSE OF US, that CAN NOT DO SO WELL in LIFEE
he's a genius. why ? because of the setting. he didn't crack jokes or story-telling about other people. it's all about him. the setting ? UK. for UK audience. Audience can relate with the story with their lives. and he stops his performance when people are laughing, not of bore-dying. crowd control.
@@peterpinsent9304 Well, they vary in quality tho. You could get comedians like these who are genuinely funny and then you have comedians like Amy Schumer.
@@maxtrophy68 Did he roast Africa tho? No, I don't think so. He only stated the reality. If only African leaders would sit right and fix the problems of their countries then he'd have chosen another topic or use other examples.
Anyone can tell a funny joke, but it’s the way you say them. This guy is brilliant. He’s jokes and stories are very well put together and I think he has a big future. Very well done.
I'm glad he got the golden buzzer, he's genuinely funny. He also has great energy. I feel like if I had a crappy day and ran into him, he's make me smile and feel better.
Best comedian ever! What’s great with him is that he’s well-informed of the present setting. His antics are blended with history and well researched topics.
Stand up Comedy is probably the toughest thing to do. Irrespective of rehearsals you do, it's all about that day's audience whether they would laugh or not. Good job brother
I get so happy watching this. This had to have been the most amazing feeling to have a room full of people believe in you and very well deserved of course 👏
Its nice to have comedy that doesn't involve cursing all the time, plus it revolves around the truth. MAY HE REACH HIGHER IN HIS CAREER AND BECOME A REFERENCE POINT TO UP COMING COMEDIANS. Much love from Tanzania your neighboring country
I tried out for America’s got talent I was awful and no they didn’t call me back. BUT, The old me would’ve kick myself embarrassed saying how I ‘failed’. The NEW me says oh my god girl do you realize how much courage it took me to get on that stage and do that so what if they didn’t call you back that’s the first step!! KEEP GOING!
Aren't you that woman that said, "are you all alright?". And then the crowd went like "Yesss". And she just ruined it all and said "no.. you are all alleft"
