I don’t think anyone in Africa would have been able to match Terry ,not wizkid, burna or davido..he would have been unstoppable with his energetic performance and talent. so many Grammies & awards . RIP legend 😢🙏🏾.
RIP Terry Bon Chaka 🙏🙏🙏 Such an unrivalled talent. I know you could have won a Grammy for Ghana 🇬🇭, there was no doubt about that !!!!! You were my senior during our secondary school days at the great Adisadel College in the year 2000. He could make music out of everything & anything around him. Just tell him to give you a freestyle and it was good enough to be recorded as a hit. I remember how you used to light up entertainment nights with your dexterity. I knew you all the way from Dansoman till we met at Adisadel College. First time I really witnessed your talent was when you won a musical talent show held at the Efua Sutherland’s Children’s park in 1995. I still have tears in my eyes, such a lively & a lovely character. You were bound for greatness. RIPP Terry Adjetey aka Terry Bon Chaka. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is the man who mentor Bandana gave him the name shatta 'Rest well' chairman now your son grow Beyonce features him ❤️ one lover Terry you were greater then
Just feel like crying I was always beaten because I would run at top speed to the cinema just at the sound of His music. 9yrs than. You still the best. love you to the core.
I see so many similarities between Ebony and him. They both did dancehall music and had that husky deep voice that’s sound good at the same time (which is rare to come by). They had so much potential and could’ve taken ghana 🇬🇭 to the next level, but they both died such a sad death through a car accident. May y’all soul Rest In Peace, I love you guys 💜
Hmm. How can I forget you Terry? It was September 2003 Akuafo Hall SRC week held on the field b/n Annex A and B. As a fresher I was eager to witness the 1st SRC week and also to see for the 1st time my favorite artistes. And of course they didn't disappoint. 4x4 was really good. So was Buk Buk, Obrafour, Tinny, KK Fosu, Abrewa Nana etc. But when it got to Terry, omg! You could feel the guy was really possessed. As if he knew he was performing for the last time on planet earth. Trust me this guy performed and even remixed some foreign songs with his unique voice and dance moves. Few minutes after his performance the news filtered in that he had an accident at Okponglo on his way home. We quickly rushed there but only saw the accident scene. How could a nim tree which wasn't big enough to kill a snake killed you? How? Only God can answer that. At first we thought it was a harmless accident until we heard Abrewa Nana wailing on a radio station about the death of Terry. Eiii Awiase paa ni? Terry I remember you today September 22nd, 2018. You were great, unique, a free spirit, genius and a brother to me. Continue to rest in perfect peace until the day we all meet again.
I just keep loving his tunes, African Cho, Kasha Flash, Lom Nava, etc. Terry is a machine! Packing all such numerous syllables in just one single line makes his ragga so hard to copy. Natural King! Keep ruling in peace!
Hmmmm....He was such a great talent with energetic stage performances not forgetting his unique voice and style of singing....you will always be miss😭😭R.I.P
Was hanging out with him that night at On the Run,Legon, and he left to perform on campus. Never knew that ll be the last time i ll see him laugh. RIP my friend. You would have been bigger than life. Rest well brother.

I was in primary 3 when he passed away. He came to our school on Friday to do a show for us, we came to school on Monday and there was news everywhere of his demise. His family house use to be close to my school so there were a lot of people standing there. The guy had so much energy. I still remember his performance in our school that day. RIP King.
