It's even better because it's towards the end of season 1, the season that's all about Holt's introduction and his clash with Jake. Him pranking Jake in this way shows he's getting on his level and integrating into the team.

I don't think so. You see, everyone injects a bit of themselves into their impressions: Terry: gluten/healthiness of food, Rosa: sweetness, Gina: looks, Jake: not being liked. Boyle on the other hand shows true empathy. He cares about people which is why he gets them.

I doubt anything will ever beat the ‘I want it that way’ cold open. Every second of it, including all 5 perps and the woman identifying the perp were perfectly cast and Jake’s expressions were just amazing. Apart from that, the Hoola hooping one, the full bullpen, and the high 5 one are also memorable off the top of my head. The cold opens are a B99 speciality.
