ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice” returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country to compete in the show’s newest season. Rock icon and pop culture phenomenon Gwen Stefani reclaims her red chair alongside superstar coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton for Season 19. Carson Daly returns as host. The show’s innovative format features four stages of competition: the Blind Auditions, the Battle Rounds, Knockouts, and the Live Performance Shows. During the Blind Auditions, the decisions from the musician coaches are based solely on voice and not looks. If a coach is impressed by the artist’s voice, he/she pushes a button to select the artist for his/her team. The singers with the lowest number of votes will be sent home each week. In the end, one will be named “The Voice” and will receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I haven't heard one bad performance from her and I love John Holiday but he flopped harder than her honestly. His song choices has been all wrong the past two weeks but had a great song in the duet. I'm curious of how Tamara and John Legend's duet would have been.

@@TheAndokid1 I only liked Sid and Ian from Blake's. I thought Jim flopped hard in the finale because it was clear that the producers wanted him out by giving him these weird song choices that doesn't suit his voice. He doesn't sound country at all but sounds like a christian artist. If he had sang Mary Did You Know or Go Rest High On That Mountain then he would have won. Those are the songs that fits him. Not Joe Cocker or diva songs like Mariah Carey Without You. If You sing that Joe Cocker song you won't win. That's what happened to Kyla.

IN terms of the winners that have been solely country, it's only been, Danielle, Craig, Sundance, Chevelle and aJake I don't think that's an excess amount of country artists. And then Cassadee and Todd had some elements of country, but they're really multiple genres.

My favourite performance in the entire season was when he sang rainbow connection. Got the song stuck in my head now. 2nd favourite was when he sang Lauren Daigle's You say. I bet Lauren would love his cover. Such talented kid. I'm sure he'd be great on broadway. He looks like he would be a great performer and has a lot of charisma.

Let's be real here. Other finalist may have better voice or experiences but the real reason Carter won is because his emotion really got through to us. I mean I'm from Malaysia and I wasn't able to vote but I make an effort to vote Carter because I really felt his emotion especially on his performance on You Says and Rainbow Connection. I love Desz and John's performance but this kid right here really stole my heart. I didn't felt anything with John's fix you cause i felt its only for a show but that song actually really an emotional song but no emotion when John is singing it but Carter's performance was dedicated to his brother and it really touches me. Congratulations Carter. You deserved to win this competition no matter what people say about how other contestants was robbed.

The best singers or artist rarely win these type of shows. It's all about image. As soon as I saw him sing I knew he would win. Cute little white kid who is really sweet with a good voice will win any singing competition where the majority of viewers are white women. It's the same reason why country musicians stars do better on this show than most others. The viewing demographics of this show dictate who wins most of the time. Not talent.

This young man made me literally cry. I kept on watching this show when I was in Kenya and I can tell you this guy rejuvenated my life and I had to put the zeal in my studies as well and here I am in Ohio. Very much so. Even same type of face and body type and effeminate looking, singing beautifully and choosing spiritual songs. People are hungry for that kind of purity in a person and music these days.

Gwen has a motherly love for her young artist. Continue fighting for young singers on the voice Gwen. You do exceptional coach job with young artist, I think that is because of your love for your own kids.
