HISTORY: After the infamous 1988 separation. Vocalists Bimi Ombale, JP Buse, Ya Lengos, Guitarists Beniko Popolipo, Jimmy Yaba & William Avedila alias Petit Poisson, Bassist Yvon Kabamba, Drummer Ilo Pablo Bakunde, Percussionist Djerba Manzeku and Atalaku Bebe created Zaiko Familia Dei.
From the Nkolo Mboka side, vocalists Mafuta Mondial, Adamo Ekula and late guitarist Bansimba Baroza came from Grand Zaiko Wawa, late guitarist Boanga Omer and percussionist Cele Mbonda came from Langa Langa Stars, drummer Patsho Star came from Victoria Eleison, guitarist Landu Shango came from Orchestre Oka, late guitarist Mvuemba Chiro came from Minzoto Wella Wella while bassist Motingia and atalaku Doudou Adoula came from lesser known bands. Also vocalist Malage du Lugendo (TPOK Jazz), Thylon Muanda, late Petit Aziza (Viva la Musica) also join.

This Zaiko Langa Langa music is the classic music that should be played all over Africa, and not the nonsense music played these days because there is too much noise these days, and tends to be a one man band music. Music of those days were the fruits of a combination of great talents who wrote, composed, sang songs with passion and love for music. Agboti Yawo Mawenan, un grand monsieur que j'ai eu l'honneur de rencontrer à Accra, voici plus de 30 ans. La guitare solo sur ce morceau est l'œuvre d'un "vieux" à moi, malheureusement disparu, Ntumba "Bibiche". Cela me fait tout drôle de revoir Agboti Yawo devenu très âgé !
