Split close really took a step back from last year and a lot of great plays the jets playbook had. I would really like to see more against man as that is the meta right now and these formations tend to struggle against man unless someone has a large speed/route running advantage. The old jets split close had some really good plays to beat man, unfortunately this year that doesn't appear to be the case.

Can still beat man coverage especially Cover 0 out of this. But definitely not as good as it used to be.

@@AceMaddenTips I’m struggling to get my guys open, even at route running thresholds on MUT, doesn’t seem to have some of the glitchy posts and corner routes that the old split close had. With two man under being so meta, really difficult to get my guys open, would love to hear your thoughts on how to do that without the top cards (I run a TT so I won’t have top end WRs or TEs generally)

Shaded down Man is definitely a challenge. Definitely need specific routes vs it. Zigs (yes they can beat shaded down Man), Motion Slants for stock routes. And then specific stock or HRM routes like corners, posts, HB angle routes, etc.

It is a free ebook but this also has Tight Slots HB WK with the Post Drag/Mesh play, has some Empty thats really good right now, doubles y flex and work agaisnt man, and the bunch wide can be nice too. Use some creativity and these as the base.

Saw your video now. Great concept. I’m new to madden and I was trying to run the dolphin option No. 2 scheme where you motion the right side RB to the left for the drag, but I can’t motion anyone in the formation. Don’t know if I’m doing something wrong. Would love someone to help correct me

Jets split close was much better against the man meta, which appears to be back again this year. Was very disappointed they took that out, or at least those plays. I have been in split close for years and I'm struggling to find another offense since they took a lot of great plays out.

on xbox halfs the set up wont let u motion anyone and the last play dolphins option is in spit close pro and again cant motion. what a joke. cant even use match coverge adjustment on defense on the xbox. wtf?

well i created it so its a bit easier for me hahah. i recommend just picking 5 setups you like and just spamming those until you have them memorized. then you can add more.
