REALLY insightful and detailed video. As for some constructive criticism: I'd definitely try to condense the information to a more easily processible extent in addition to a very indepth and lengthy version like this.

Samuro is a lot stronger than given credit for but I think team fight is too weak compared to S and A tier, so probably should be B tier

Zeratul is higher than Rexxar and Imperius? God damn this tier list suks

Bruh i know this is old but you are crazy for putting thrall, kerrigan, illidan, zeratul, and chen above artanis in the solo lane. You even said its a general tier list and not for competitive/team league. What are you smoking?

When it comes to Yrel I am almost as biased as Liam. My favorite offlaner and the most underrated one.

Legacy has been crazy carried by teammates. Needs to be quiet.

Agree with the list for the most part. I'd only say you under valued Samuro due to maybe not playing/seeing him enough. He's also a pretty high skill ceiling hero though, so its not an easy hero to pick up and play. For general players, yeah C is probably right, but as a dedicated offlaner player is a B. The wave clear at 7 is more than adequate and like you mention at 10 becomes really great at oppressive macro, and he can do camps safely and fairly quickly. Also since his clones can gather xp, so he can rotate sooner than most.

Other thing that seems to define the S tier is that they really can do it all a bit too well and dont seem to have that much drawback. Like blaze as sick bunker, aoe slows, aie stun debuffs, some burst these days, access to ez armor with trait and stuff and previously the drawback to blaze was that you didnt beat the higher tier on waveclear but with the last changes he gets that too. Dehaka can be super slippery, is super survivable, might not be the most insane camp clear but like you guys said global is insane and cc wise tongue and ult are pretty good. With Yrel, I find the only drawback is that her kit is a bit more on the defensive side, cc is more of a “soft” cc, ults arent as strong as say a bunker or are more self focused (ardent defender) and I feel like she is a bit harder to play. Theres a specific rythm to her playstyle. Cause she double soaks, is hard to kill and all which makes her awesome as an offlaner but a tad less than the S tier which are good on all front

On b you clearly see that the heroes start to have drawback or have specific niches or strenghts and weaknesses. Leo is pretty close to an A tier I find but when you compare how tough the A and S are you understand why he doesnt make the cut. He has heal through drain but thats kinda it. You dont have access to any type of ez armor or humongous hp pool like a blaze trait and your main source of heal is the 1 drain that heal ok but if theres too much burst or incoming dmg that 1 drain wont keep you alive so much as access to armor could. Also sad for the lower tier ones that would be more geared toward aggression but dont have too much of a place cause the higher tiered offlaners just have too much self-heal/armor/hp/escape to even bother trying to push the offlaner out of the lane

I’m curious about all the squishier melees. In the current state of the offlane, seems like the S tier got it all sick tankiness, double soaking potential, possibly can camp, bring teamfight value, etc etc I’m curious about all the squishier melee “offlaners” like rag/malth/illi/qhira/butch/thrall/twinbladevarian/xul/etc Is there a world where they still bring enough to be in the 4man instead or most wouldnt even bring enough teamfight dmg so they’re just stuck in a bad spot?

Malthael's biggest weakness is his matchups against ranged heroes and maybe being ganked. I say maybe because it's quite high technical to play and can be slippery if done right. When drafter properly I believe he beats all the other solo laners, at least the meta ones, consistently. He clears waves and bullies like no other.
