I love Olight so much I had an alarm set for the exact minute that the sale started within five minutes of the sale starting. I’ve spent several hundred dollars please help I have problems but the darkness is not one of them
I did the exact same thing 😂😂. I also did something similar about a month ago with the Warrior Nano. I do like the Nano it has its place, same Lumens as Baton 4 however the larger battery is better run times and, the tail switch was huge for me.
Came here to say this! I picked up just the Baton 4 case to replace my Baton 3 case and come with me for travel. Flashlight and battery bank in one is awesome!
I don’t know why anyone would carry a case rather than just carrying a bigger light, which has more lumens and candela, but is still a smaller package.
Great for backpacking. With this I can use my battery pack to charge any other items and won’t have to worry about how much I use the light while out for multiple nights on trail
It may be hard on a long camping trip to find a tree with an outlet to charge your other light? Also I don't think most people are going to carry the case around and use the light in it. I think that feature is more for when the light goes dead and you still need to use it.
My opinion is Yes its worth to have a light and batter bank together, if you like the Baton 3. I was never interested in the case for the Baton 3 but with this new power bank I’m all about it. Gonna test it camping this week.

Then I accidentally saw the Baton 4 on the DE Olight webpage, went back to your channel and found this video. That is a SUPER cool product indeed. I cannot relate to your enthusiasm for the i3T 2. For some very strange reason the i3T on low mode is distinctly brighter. Go figure. Yes, I suppose running a 10440 in the i3T is potentially risky but nonetheless, the performance is better and you wouldn’t need it on high mode for very long anyway. The extra 20 lumens on high with a standard aaa is negligible. The i3T 2 on high mode with a 10440 is definitely brighter than the i3T in high mode using a aaa but not by a ton. The i3T2 on low mode even with the 10440 is less bright than the i3T low mode with a aaa. So longer runtime on low mode but less bright!🤦🏼♂️ Baton 4 rocks! I think the overall consensus is that we all wish it ran on a standard CR123. Hopefully one of these days Olight will stop the whole proprietary battery thing. Of less importance, but nonetheless a consideration for many, the i3T2 has pretty weak color offerings. Come on Olight!
If you're looking at the Baton, go and look at the Wurkkos TS10 instead, I've got mine in brass with 3000k 519a emitters, it's a lot brighter but also more versatile than the Baton and it's less than 1/5 of the price. Also, carrying a spare battery or two in a case is still way more pocketable than the charger case for this, but why would you carry that case when you could just use an 18650 or 21700 light which gives better ergonomics and performance and still be more pocketable than a box.

Got the Baton 4 premium bundle with Perun 2 mini even before I knew it could charge the perun. This is got to be my new fav light and of course the case has a lot to do with it.
The i5t eos sounds great but I have the i5r eos and just swapped to a manker because there is no lock out mode or guard around the button so it always comes on when it’s clipped onto my pocket and if I don’t catch it in time it ruins the battery down so when I need it it’s dead. The manker I just got has a button that can’t get accidentally pushed but it’s about the same size. They need to add a lock out mode or guard the button
I picked one of the Baton 4 Premiums up mainly because of the charging case. Worth noting that the output spec says it only outputs 5 volts. It can handle enough amps to make it useful but if you want to charge something that wants 9, 12, 15, 20v, it won't work.
@@maxlvledc it will do most of what I want it to do, and I am happy with it. It would just be nice if it could also charge something like a Yaesu FT-5D :)
@@Reflect744 I know, I knew that when I bought it. The USB-C standard is great but not everybody knows that some USB-C products only output 5v, so I commented about it.
That's what I got. Camo/ green and some cr123a and the little upgraded AAA thing in this with some spare octacle blades to make the total enough to get an octacle free. Hope it's the orange.
I have tried really hard to like the i3t but after having two tail caps go bad and Olight sending me a replacement tail cap and then a new light I don't trust it anymore. I have a donut i3t that I just don't use because I don't want it to fail, but in that case what's it good for? I have a black one that I carry but rarely use because it's the replacement light for the second tail cap that failed. The i3t has gone from my most frequently used light to my least used light, not counting the keychain lights that I have too many of.
Get a 10440 and put in it and you'll love it. I3t old one or this new one. I3t are under 20 bucks on the regular. I haven't had one go bad but if it did no biggie.
@uuuultra what are? Olight has been by far one of the most durable..but more than that...they readily replace any issue. Not just for me but for a lot of people.
1:30 Draining them too much actually can cause them to explode when you try to charge them again. Most chargers have safeguards built in to prevent this though, and will just refuse to charge a battery if it detects a starting voltage that is too low.

I got this light about a month ago and I've been abusing it and the case and it definitely is an amazing light. I also love using the case on break time on work to charge my perun 2 mini bc I work nights and have that light on all night

I carry tn12 pro everyday is it worth to switch to baton 4 or wait for the baton 4 pro? I carry a 26k anker power bank so although the case is really cool I don't need it but I've been wanting to upgrade from the tn12 pro and not sure what way yet that's worth my money

Well do you care about the power or just the physical size? If its as bright as a physically larger flashlight then I view that as an advantage. Bigger physically is pointless if its still 1200 lumens. However I do understand run times would be better.
I picked up the Baton 4 with case and Prerun 2 bundle. It seemed like good value. It said 45% off. I don’t mind having another good headlight and it fits in the case.
That’s an amazing deal, I’m kinda pissed I got the Baton 4 and mini pen combo for $70 and I could have just paid 20 more and do what you did, because I know I paid 40-50 for my Perun 2 if not more.
