Daniel recommends Peel Stop which is Zinnser! It is water based. If you want an oil based and tougher stain blocking primer from Zinnser, they do a product called Cover Stain. They also do a shellac based primer called BIN but is too smelly and too quick drying for some folk.

Pollyfilla caulk is spot on Great gear. Isomat Ismatica is also good but much more expensive and sold in smaller tubes

Hi. Yes I use a plaster primer called Optiva Primer by Tikkurila. You can use this neat on bare plaster. If you want to use a cheaper one then wickes sell plaster primer. Or you can thin out contract matt with water to make a mist coat for you first coat

The Tikkurila Optiva 5 or 20. But any DIY store that says bathroom paint. Not sure how long it will last

@@danielnugentpainteranddeco557 Zinsser Perma White is excellent. Used it to re-paint bathroom ceiling after using much hyped WRX water based paint (don't). Have also used it to prime bare timber (Zinsser says you can). Goes on effortlessly and finish is brilliant for base of Satinwood. Great tip with the 'Peel Stop' - it works (helps) and have made a note of the Luja 7 after another excellent post 👍

Type of paint which can withstand moisture exposure 💦 ? I prepped and sanded the old yellowing gloss paint from my bathroom wooden surfaces which had mould spores. I want to make sure I am using the right paint brand for anti- moisture ? Thanks 👍
