I was surprised and happy to see my copy arrive this past weekend. Never received tracking information or anything. It just showed up! Marvel Zombies needed this to feel complete.
The ability to simply add up your hits and apply them in target priority to the enemies - in addition to choosing who activates in which order - make this game a tad too easy for me. I prefer weapons having a damage rating that require a bit more work to take out abominations such as needing dragons breath or what have you
One thing I'm not a fan of in this version is that there are no equipment/weapon cards, so all you have is your starting attack, "your super power" and the hero trait cards don't give you much except range or rerolls, so in this version, the stacking of hits is absolutley necessary.
I find that thanos, red skull or any 5 toughness enemies makes the game harder. They are the real abomination in the game and should be included in any game. Maybe two 5 toughness, two 4 toughness and two 3 toughness per game
It's a nice addition as it allows you to get dual use out of all your characters now. All characters can be used in both hero mode and zombie mode now.
