ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

Ruby's foundation is her family. They provide the strength and support and she provides the talent and hard work ethic that's going to drive her to a successful music career. This is just the start, I see her doing great music in the future. I remember during her audition after she had 4 chair turns her Dad shouting "I told you Ruby"!!! A loving supportive family is so important for a young person male or female.

I was so disappointed when she didn’t win. I read she was in school and her family lost everything from a tornado. So this sweet young lady was then homeschooled to be with her family. 💚❤️🩵🩷💜

Her rendition of Linda Ronstadt's long long time brought me to tears. Ruby as a 16 yr old doesn't have the life experience to sing that song, yet she did it with the FULL emotions of an adult. That's what I call a God given talent. I wish her all happiness and success in her singing career. This young gal could some day be as famous as Reba! Without question she has the talent, drive and mature attitude to do it. I'm sure her parents are incredibly proud of her! She's a powerful young women with a laser focus to be a country singing STAR.

Just had to watch this again for the 100th time in CELEBRATION of Ruby Leigh announcing yesterday 4-26-24, that SHE WILL BE MAKING HER DEBUT ON THE GRAND OLE OPRY AUGUST 2, 2024!!!!! From The Voice stage to The Grand Ole Opry stage...HER BIGGEST DREAM HAS COME TRUE!!! I am soooo EXCITED and HAPPY for her, and her family that has been a HUGE support system for her!!! She deserves this sooo much!!! I hope the Grand Ole Opry is ready, because she will blow them ALL away!!! Congratulations Ruby Leigh...keep shining like the STAR that YOU are!!! ⭐🤩

I wonder if that’s why she didn’t win, people know she has a future, she not going anywhere. People wanted to help someone didn’t have a guarantee, this was Huntley’s third try. He has been on other shows like AGT & lost. I’m not saying he is not good, but Ruby is on her way to the top.

Dang ! I had given up what I call popcorn country..today all new country singers sound like 70'a pop music..Ruby reminded me WHY I use to love country music..Ruby speaks to your heart or rather sings to it !! I sure hope she turns country music into real country music!!! ❤

there are only a handful of newer (since around 1990) country artists that i even listen to..i grew up on jones cash cline jennings etc..the only hope we have is that the younger folks catch the country bug and take it back to the roots ..as far as newer people about the only one i like is jamey johnson, he sounds very traditional

She didn't win first place but I know Reba probably opened some doors for her beyond this platform. There are people who win first place, take the prize money, and you never hear from them again and then there are the runner-ups or second place wins who go on to be superstars... isn't life just strange. I am sure we will hear more from Ruby in the future. She was already a star from her first performance.

So I would not call myself a big fan of country music and the first time I heard Linda Ronstadts’ song long long time was in the last of us and I absolutely fell in love with that song. Hearing such a young and amazing singer do a rendition of it gave me chills. Her audition was by far my favorite of the season and I truly hope her career flourishes she’s incredible.

As a father of daughters who sing a perform I understand where the father gets emotional. Every time I am there watching one of my daughters perform live I start tearing up. To see them be vulnerable and push through it with grace and courage is amazing. Just thinking about it makes me tear up.

Ruby always sings so unexpectedly and yet beautifully. I didn't watch the season on air, but did they really stop with five finalists instead of paring it down to three? I've noticed that even in the three contestant version, if there are two singers who draw from similar voting pools, they split their support and the third singer wins. So I'm wondering if Ruby wouldn't have picked up enough votes to win in a three-way contest. I hope she gets a good record deal, regardless. And good songwriters!

I truly believe Ruby should have won. I really believe Huntley won for the fact he was on Niall's team and Niall's fanbase is exceptionally massive from being in One Direction. I love Niall Don't get me wrong. But That cleared him the votes. Ruby vocally should have won over Huntley in my opinion.

She’s really great! I do think suspicious minds is a tough song to cover though because Elvis put so much energy into his performances that when others cover it, it doesn’t really hit the same if you know what I mean!
