Loving having Jason and Aaron as part of the Classic Family. They both bring a lot to the table. I prefer Jason's list until we get to #1 and then Aaron takes it. I understand about Glock dependability, I still have a Gen 1 (and several more), but the Sig P320 XFive...#1 all day, everyday.

Glocks are reliable so are M&P’s plus in combat resources will be limited and Glock’s and M&P’s have the market

S&W M&P 2.0 in 10mm, with an Apex trigger and Springer Precision mag springs & extended base pad. 18 rounds of pure FAAFO. I do have a SIG X5 Legion, a Browning High Power, and an FN FNX 45 Tactical, but for SHTF or a home invasion in which all I could use is a single pistol, the S&W M&P 2.0 in 10mm all day, every day.

I have said this before, but Jason and I believe Aaron NEED to have their names in the opening credits. Why? They are integral parts of this channel and show up so often, actually more than Matt does, that they DESERVE to be in the opening credits. My first Handgun was a Glcok 17, purchased in 1988. Yeah, OG in the house. LOL. I still carry a Glock 19 Gen 3 today. But, I am actually moving on to the gun you should have picked as Number 1, the Springfield Echelon. My number two would have been the S&W M&P 2.0. Great video as always guys.

all of those are good choices, I personally preferred Aaron's choices because like him I really like Sig, but I also really liked Jason choice with the HK MK23, some other handguns I would've had on my list would've been the Staccato XC

Mine follows a Jerry Miculek principle, 5 inch barrels: Springfield Echelon gets Honorable Mention (4.5 barrel) 5: M&P Pro Series 4: M&P Competitor 3: M&P 2.0 40 S&W 2: Springfield Emissary 1': Rock Island Armory 2011 45 ACP (14+1 rounds of the Lord's caliber) All with 5 inch barrels, perfect for battle.

I really hope they make the x5 legion in da/sa, I love that trigger and it’s the only gun where I actually use the slide release to release then slide, it’s placement is perfection for that purpose all the other ones are in a poor location for use in reloads.

1) Staccato P 2) SIG P226 3) HK P30 4) Beretta 92G 5) SIG P320 HM) Berretta PX4 1) Staccato P - Basically a double stack 1911 9mm that has been proven in the reliability department, easiest to shoot out of the 3 and has manual safeties. Also has a lot of aftermarket support. 2) SIG P226 - Needs no introduction. DA/SA 9mm that has been pretty much everywhere and has probably seen more combat than almost any other pistol. A lot of aftermarket support. 3) HK P30 - Very robust and reliable handgun. Comes in DA/SA or LEM model and has the ability to have a manual safety. Good aftermarket support, easy to shoot, but it has a polymer frame which was not ideal in my selection. 4) Beretta 92G - 92 series has been tried and true in the reliability department, has options for decocker only or safety / decock. Decocker only in this firearm is best because you don't run the risk of accidentally putting the safety on when manipulating the slide. Also the selector is not in the most ideal location for a safety. It is below the P30 primarily because there aren't any Level 3 holsters I can find that support a weapon light. 5) SIG P320 - One of the best striker fired handguns and one of the most modular and customizable firearms available. Very reliable and durable with a lot of aftermarket support. This and the S&W M&P are the only striker fired pistols I can think of that can be had in a metal frame with and without a safety. Has one of the best triggers in the striker fired handgun segment. The P320 took #5 because it is not a hammer fired firearm which is a strong preference for me. Honorable Mention) Beretta PX4 - Often overlooked pistol that is very reliable, comes in multiple calibers, DA/SA and can be the G (decocker) or F (Safety/decocker) model like the Beretta 92. Didn't make the official list because of aftermarket support, and it was lower on the list because it is polymer framed.

Both good picks, but if we're strict on combat pistols, I'm leaning towards Jason's list. The hk and fn 45s have the stopping power, and the fn 57 can pepper certain plate barriers at close range. Additionally, if you need to be covert, they have a lower register with suppressors. Great work guys, you should do more work together.
