The BEST Places to Visit in DRUMHELLER, ALBERTA (Our Itinerary) 

After living in drumheller I can say its so unbelievably cool living in this area.... not sure if you completed the loop, but after/before horsethief you can take the bleriot cable ferry accross the river, more pretty driving and kinda fun experience

This is my hometown. There is SO much to do and check out. I grew up in The Last Chance Saloon and that end of the valley is where I lived. Next time you'll want to check out the East Coulee School Museum and the Atlas Coal Mine. I was one of the guys who helped restore the underground tunnel you can tour in. Since you would be in that end of the valley, you might want to check out Dorothy with it's ghost town vibes, 2 renovated small churches and a decerped and dilapidated grain elevator. If you want more hidden gems to see and do, let me know and I can point you towards some amazing adventures in the valley

Thank you. Also born & raised Albertan, so our families first trip was when I was 10, or 11 (90's) & we camped for a week- with some friends! Since I've been married, we have returned around 6 times; but the last time was in 2019. I see what you mean, by the Royal Tyrell Museum making Drumheller seem like a children's vacation, destination... BUT IF ANYONE has NOT gone to the museum, or it's been several years; it IS a Must See; since they change exhibits, every soo often- so check for updates😉
