@@WilliamStewart1 He most definitely carried them against Philly, with some help from Siakim, the rest only started contributing after that series. That series, that game was all Kawhi Leonard.
4:02 CJ was balling this entire series. His chasedown block and midrange heroics in Game 7 (neither team could hit a 3 to save their lives all game: Portland went 4 for 26, Denver 2 for 19) were just a part of this. Shoutout to Seth Curry for slowing Murray down and preventing the dunk. He's been underrated for a while and shows just how deep Portland's bench is now. Between him, Rodney Hood, Evan Turner, Jake Layman, Enes Kanter (once Nurk comes back), etc., they have serious options whether continuously subbing or using a platoon system.
Here I am, April 24, 2020, just admiring how great the 2019 playoffs were. 2016 and 2019 were the best playoffs I’ve ever watched. Entertaining from start to finish
@@yupadej4361 Vs Denver he had big moments. Just that game 7 when he let CJ go off he kinda sucked (3-15 from field or something) and then of course vs GS he regressed
Yeah, there were only a few seconds left and yet he still waited to make that shot. Then he made it from far away. I don't know how he manages to be that fearless in a play-off game, he took that shot as if it was a friendly game and the result did not matter.
@@jwwilhelmi9670 Hey, stop laughing about aaron baynes! He don't jump very high but he is a quite good defender, he have celtic's mentality. He is a better player then Thon Maker, respect him please
OG blazers fan here, it was badass to see dametime to start it start this off but don't think that we already forgot about his performance against the warriors... You choked when we needed you most
@@zeallyzacc That's true. He tries to shoot himself out of a slump but doesn't do it right. If he is making them, he should keep shooting them (game 5 vs OKC when he had 10 3s, 50 pts, and at least 5 of his 3s were "deep". I think Lillard's shot was better/
@@user-ns9fc Luckier? I'd say the only thing that makes it better was the game 7 aspect, but they were still tied. Lillard's was from the logo, and on top of that it was expected to be made, not "oh shit Kawhi just threw it in, lucky, magnets!" (kidding) I love that shot too though.
That was back when Toronto was the most hated team in the league for no reason. You know, a month ago. If Kawhi leaves Toronto will be even more disrespected than it has been the past 5 years. If we ever get a billion Filipino bandwagon fans, I will kill myself
@@carolinewall3678 if you play basketball you know stepping on a foot is a fluke and isn't really a highlight. It's like a slippery floor. Nothing the player can do about it.
1 thing I really like about Giannis is that he isn’t afraid to get dunked on. He’ll go up against anyone to try and get the block even if it means he might get posterized. Have to respect it!
