That’s why he took a whole 7 years to come back. He was doing assistant work for some coaches and then finally felt confident to step back on the court I love it 💯💯💯
@@Pheofy1 Not to downplay Ware's injury, but his had nothing on Livingston's. Tore every ligament in his knee and was moments away from having to get it amputated. To even come back to NBA form, let alone perform as great as he did is a miracle.
Injuries: I’m about to end this mans whole career Shaun Livingston: bounces around the league hoping for a shot and works his way to being a key bench piece for the greatest regular season team the NBA has ever seen.
Every organization he's been on, he has done what he is called to do. On the Warriors, he was an exceptional high IQ player with his underrated D, playmaking and of course his HOF middy
He never became one, which was what people used to think of him when he got drafted but he made one heck of a career for a guy who suffered one of the most horrific injuries of all time in any sport
Yeah I thought the same thing. Cuz for me, in the back of my mind I'd always be worrying about how I'm landing. After a traumatic injury that bad it really takes a strong mind to play like he does
Daaaamn. Just watched his interview on All the Smoke. A dislocated knee and 3 ligaments were torn and almost got to the point where the doctors were considering his leg to be amputated. But he still dunking on people with his recovered knee used for take-off. What a warrior
Livingston and Curry's style of play (handling of balls and passing) were almost the same. The difference were in how they made scores. Curry more on Three-shooting skills while Livingston was more on dunk/lay-up. No wonder, it was Livingston who most often replacing Curry every time Curry needs to rest. God bless you Shaun on your next phase in life.
#RESPEKT After almost losing his leg, he was able to work his behind off and accomplish so much. Always loved his mid range and the posters! I'll miss him. God bless him and his family! Edit: I wanted more highlights!
@@peterjo5215 and so are you. If all the bench players from the last 4 seasons are ranked, he would probably be at top 10 (not counting the reserves and 6th mans)
UNDERRATED. Livingston crossed Harden, dropped Nash, and even dunked on Giannis and Capela. Great dunker, mid-range shooter, and passer (especially the no look and behind the back passes) as well.
Such a calming, steadying force off the bench for the Warriors. He might not hold the lead, but he always kept the bench guys from panicking and making it worse. He's another on those championship Warriors teams that I could easily see becoming a coach.
Back when I was a kid playing 2k I always played with Shaun Livingston. Partially coz in 2k he looked really old but I played so much with him that I would always win blacktop 1v1s no matter what player my brother picked.
He reminds me a lot of young Ron Harper who played and scored like a beast with the cavs back in the day before joining the Bulls in the late 90s and accepting his worthy role coming off the bench winning titles!
Worst injury of all time, but one of the best come backs ever. He had a great career, expecially on the Warriors. He was really underrated and was one of the reasons of the GS' success.
Lmao I'm not saying that he's the best everyone knows that don't make fun of him if you had those injuries you would cry in a corner and not do shit smh
this dude was supposed to be the next big thing, he was drafted really high and looked explosive coming out of the draft. That knee injury was the worst ever, he tore like 3 out of the 4 ligaments in his knee... great to see him comeback from a near career ending injury always was a fan of this dude
