As a professional colour pencil artist and elementary school Art Teacher, I would be in seventh heaven if I won that set, but I live in reality as I'm from the Caribbean and I may not qualify not being a US citizen and so for whoever the winner will be I give you warm congratulations as that is an amazing prize. 🎉
I watched the whole video and I don’t even own polychromos. Maybe someday i’ll get a few to play with. Great review, demo and an excellent book. This is a lot of work. These swatch books are the best coloring aid I’ve seen. I do like the color cube for stretching myself, but I am always coming back to your swatch books. Job well done.🎉🎉🎉😅
I just love how organized you guys are with each type of color medium, coloring books, etc. I wish I could afford everything!! I’ve not had internet for awhile and am unable to login very much. But, thank you both for all your hard word and sharing so much with everyone!
Thank you for updating the Polychromos book, I love the added tri-tone color schemes you added. I’m in the process of coloring in my updated swatches and comparing with my old workbook. All the updates make me so happy!
I do love my tri tone book for prismacolors. And I just ordered my polychromo Faber Castel book. Yes. They do come in hannnndddy.thanks for all the hard work.😊
As always I learn so much from you. I ordered and received this wonderful workbook.. I too am excited to start working in it. Thank you both and little Rose. Happy Independence Day !! Regards from Chicago!
Great Episode and lots of hard work for you, Steve and even Rose! Love the approach to your info. I am so new to coloring .. ive done 1 floral page and lots of youtube overload! LOL would love to try those polychromos as i also have hand problems .. seems they would be easier. All my love to all of you .. C~. (I had some questions, but can’t remember them! LOL)
the Polychromos are my favorite set of pencils and I also had trouble with the missing light violett. As the white is not very strong I came up with another way: I use their layerability and make first layer 119, then add one light layer of 140. sqitching back to 119 and again 140... it worked very well for me
Such a wonderful prize. I already have the full poly set, so I will not enter, but I wish all those who do the very best of luck. I will purchase the book you are showing here, as that will be useful. Thanks for all your hard work.
That's an awesome amount of work, guys! I love the Polys but would love them more if they had some more lights in their range Like, a true light violet instead of a pinky-violet.
I’ve been coloring to help myself feel less stressed. Your videos really help. I love this set of polychromos. It is just beautiful!!! Give Rosie a kiss from me!!
Polychromos in the wooden box...Wow, what an incredible gift for someone to win! Love your Polychromos book too, you put a lot of time snd work into that 🥰
Dunno if it would look good or not but I always love to go for purple. lol. Or even green! Green, I would think, would make that red really pop! I miss being a paid member but I have student loans and I haven't even been able to purchase supplies. I would love that Tri Tone workbook, Maybe some day! Thank you for the free downloads!!
I have investigated a bit and found a really goos solution for alternative combination for Violet to help with the light tone: Kalour Macaron 72 Pencil set - Y069 French Violet and Y047 Lilac work pretty well with medium and dark you have picked for Polychromos.
Hi Jennifer, Steve and adorable Rose another great video. I always marvel at the effort you put into your colouring obsessions!. I would love to purchase your tritones work books for all the brands I own. However with the exorbitant postal costs for you to ship internationally I wonder of you have ever considered making them digital. Like you do with so many otherwonderful colour books and resources. Obviously we wouldn't get the high quality paper you use for them but it would be cheaper to down load 5 or 6 workbooks and print them at home, especially for those of us in the UK or Australia. Thanks again, ALso have you seen the beautiful colours in the new Castle Arts 82 harmonious set. Take care.
I had to go look up what polychromos actually are! To be honest I am not crazy about these colors. This is why I ordered the huge 520 Brutfuner set….for the variety of colors.
Yes!🙌 I thought I was ‘crazy’ when I altered the tri-tones myself back then. I didn’t agree with some of the trio’s, because ‘the lights’ had a different undertone and to put that in words how that works, is very difficult.
What an amazing collection of colours! I have never seen anything like this. They are so beautiful! I am a new subscriber to your channel. I 'm so happy that I discovered you.
You Both are an Absolutely Perfect Fit. I've watched since y'all have been on.. I need to find the 1st Video!!. Or maybe an anniversary of when you started to Show it.. Love hugs Prayers..🤗🙏🕊🤟❣
I have been thinking about trying out Polychromos as I learned to color with prismacolor. This video (and Roses’s enthusiasm over these pencil ) was a great help. I absolutely love your Tri tone workbooks as they are a huge help! Thanks for the inspiration 💜
Would love to win that giveaway if I'm lucky enough. I only just found out about it while watching random art stuff on RU-vid again. Just this year I've been getting into art as a casual hobby and starting to collect budget friendly quality supplies for both watercolor painting and stuff for coloring. I've never been good at art, but I enjoyed it when I was younger.
Thank you very much for this video. The Polychromos have too many grays and browns and do not have light ochre, I miss too many shades of purple, and I think that a few years ago they had a light lavender or light purple pencil that they removed, I also notice that there is a lack of some more shades of pink. I love coloring nature like flowers, trees... so I am thinking of completing my 120 Polychromos with other brands like Prismacolor (although in my country, Spain, they are difficult to get because there are very few online stores that sell them), with Holbein, Derwent, Caran D'Ache, but I don't know what numbers names would complete the Polychromos range. And I have in mind to buy pastel tone colored pencils but not expensive ones, maybe Brutfuner or Kalour.
The book is definitely worth getting and coloring in. I printed mine at home, since I luve in Europe, used paper you recommend. It took a while to color in the first book, and this one will take a while too - but soooo worth it. And learning about my less used pencils while doing it.
I just luv watching and hopefully make beautiful colors and art if I have them. I’m old school and loved prismacolor pencils. I’m looking forward to thinking maybe I can do color expression.
I bought the Small Victories coloring book about month ago and then had shoulder surgery on my right shoulder. I’m right handed and I can’t color or write at all! My polychromos pencils are in their case and we are just waiting to heal!!
Hello Jennifer, Steve and Rose. I am Wanda. I am from Atlanta, Georgia. I am new to adult coloring. I found your channel a few weeks ago and have been on a binge watch. I joined your color bliss family. For now, I am a free member. I am thinking about the $5 membership, however, I do not have a printer. Unfortunately, I do not have any social media accounts. I am so happy that you have a RU-vid channel. 😊 I was on the website earlier today, and I wanted to buy the Prismacolor Book, but didn’t know what I was doing. I thought I put it in my cart. Its getting late now, I will see if I can purchase it tomorrow. I would love to win those nice Pencils. I did fill out the submission sheet on the website earlier today. Question: I do have the 120 set of Faber-Castell Watercolour Penils. If I buy the Tri-tone book for my Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, will there be room to swatch my Watercolour Penils as well? Thanks I love what you are doing for this coloring community and I am so happy that I found your channel. God bless you and your family continuely. Amen
Really enjoyed this video, as I always do. I am waiting for Cyber-Monday in the hopes that the Ploychromos will go on sale low enough for me to buy a 120 set. I know they are oil-based and that the methods of using them will be quite different than when using was based pencils. Do you have a tutorial on using the Poly's?
OK, off-topic: a few years ago, the Marco Raffine colored pencils were all the rage. I never bought them, because they were too much $, plus most sets I could find were watercolor and I'm not into that (yet). Has Coloring Bliss ever used that brand? And how have they held up against all the many new brands? Thanks for all the hard work. ❤
I love watching your videos. I am a beginner and need all the help I can get🥴 - including the Polychromos. It used to be the Prisma Premier everybody wanted and now it is the Polychromos...so please ENTER ME to win these prizes😊. I made it just in time too. Thank you for the many chances you give us to win awesome art supplies❤.
