You could have put a port in the shallow water south of the bridge in Dopolaa (think that's the name) to free up the giant - you'd mentioned you can't put a port in it :)

You should be able to rebuild ships. Ie: you turn a raft into a scout for 5 stars, then pay an additional 5 to turn it into a rammer if you wanted to. And you can turn any of the 3 into the other 2, without disbanding or landing first and then going back onto water.

Ever try Mind Benders against Defender Spammers? Especially sneaking one against one garrisoning a city.

My favorite new strategy is taking Kickoo and then rushing to get rammers. If you get enough you can keep others off the water completely and then safely use bombers

I think I'd like to see bombers without splash but with dash and retaliate, to still have the old Battleship. At this point the catapults are not that useful. I mean yes you need ports and more money in general for the Bomber I get that balancing act... Honestly I have romanticized the idea of Battleships and naval combat in general. Also why no sails on the rammer lol. They could have made it like the triremes with the eyes, the ram and everything else. But I have to give it to Midjiwan for giving more tactical use to the border growth upgrade, the fact that you can heal ships better is genious indeed. All in all a great update.

I think midjiwan should add an air unit and make its abilities dash,escape,sneak,creep And it might be too OP so to balance it out you can turn it off and also add kinda like of an aircraft carrier that you can carry up to 5 units in water with 40-50 health and it will cost like 25 stars for one. i think it will be cool. They should add a new techtree for that in the next major update cuz its cool (Like if you want to request my idea).maybe gully will make a vid about it and midjiwan will see it and add it.

@@trashturionincredibilis290 It matters a lot, don't listen to the part about it not mattering in endgame. A lot of calculations rely on exact numbers, and the little bit of extra defense makes a difference, for example, daggers or anything else with 2 defense and 10 hp are exactly weak enough to get one shot by knights, which can chain attacks, making cloak ambushes useless unless your daggers have a defense boost. And even when not exact, it makes units able to take an extra hit than they normally would. Especially important for deterring the aforementioned knights from getting huge chains.

I find when playing against bots that bombers are way too powerful. Get bombers, win but slowly. I don't play so much any more.

TBF when playing against people, spamming bombers will get you punished because of how vulnerable and expensive they are

@@valarmis I can appreciate that but I usually play huge continents against bots and it's too easy now. I have an old pre-diplomacy version of polytopia too and I find that more interesting now.

Think the update made the NPC AI unbelievably more annoying- all they do is turtle when they get a level 4 city and build their cities dumb af, putting bridges and temples everywhere
