My go to is that Fake to the Left side, dribble,spin off the body to the right hand / right side pump again and then step thru finish with my left 🔥i usually know if they can actually guard in the post off that move lol

I always thought you were only allowed to lift the pivot foot if you lift it at the same time as your other foot. If the other foot lingers on the floor and only comes out after the pivot foot is lifted, then it's a travel, which would be just like a layup from a still position. Can someone clarify? Thx

No, otherwise a whole bunch of jump shots would technically be travels. You're allowed to lift your pivot foot to shoot the ball, if not, refs would call it when people do it on normal jumpers. In my experience, people don't complain about this on jumpers, but if you up and under someone, they feel so fooled, they have to try to call you on the travel - it's not.

You waste some much movement but never playing the post you will not know. The post move is determined on how the defender is positioned. The post player does not need to make extra moves to as you are showing.
