Fair dinkim mate i love your story telling, you might rave on a bit, if you don't mind me saying, but understand your explaining engines to some people who have no mechanical experience and think your doin a awesome job, love ya work 👍
Hi mate, awesome videos so helpful. If you can't afford a 2015 are you still better off buying 2010 150 than a 2009 120? and how would a 2014 with 200k compare to a 2010 with 96k?
FYI, Toyota have sent me a letter given me a 10 year warranty on the DPF for my 2017 Prado. I do tow a 2t caravan, I think I may need to look at at temperature gauge for my transmission, do you agree?
In the USA we can't get 120's or 150's yet as they must be 25 years old or older in order to title them and tag for the roads here. I have a 1998 Prado diesel I just purchased but am interested to know your opinion on what year of Prado is best that are 25 years old or older as I belong to a big Prado club here in the USA and would like to share the info. Thanks!
What about a 2010 - 2012 gxl prado? Do you get anything more than a 2009? I’m tossing up between something newer and cleaner or older with a few more aftermarket features like a bull bar, snorkel etc Budget is about 29,000 all up
Hey Anth, do you know if the current Hilux suffers from the same torque converter lockup issues? Sounds like the update model due out in August is getting a performance boost, an extra 20Kw & 50Nm. Bigger turbo? I guess this will carry over to the Prado. Cheers.
@@Fourby4Diesel cheers. Anything specific to look out for? I'd love a diesel but the price premium on-top of the current covid tax is a bit much. I don't regularly do big KMs anyway 👍 Edit: Not to worry, I found your other vids! 👌
@Fourby4Diesel would you say the 120 is miles better? I want a 120 with a locker (only available in the UK with cloth seats). Where as with the 90 I can get pretty mint ones with leather, heated seats and a locker for the same money. Should I go with the 120? Are they more refined? More reliable? Please lend me your expertise.
