A craft blade in a pen would kind of work for me, would work even better if it could also somehow have a slotted/phillips bit included. I've always liked a lot of CRKTs designs but never enough to actually purchase one.

Love the paperback, something i can add on my coffee table along with some of my coffee table magazine. Everyone went to digital but theres that paperback that appeals to me at least and others people as well that is tangible and u can easily look into without the use of electronics, so kudos on CRKT for doing this jmho.

First thing that sprung to mind for me was model kit building - I’ve used all of the above separately for cleaning up sprues, scribing existing panel lines, etc.

As a leather worked I already have tips like that carbide. This is pretty neat just not for me. I keep a zebra pen and a charge tti always on me. This is a cool pen but lots of pens walk off. I’ve walked away with others pens so many times lol.

Cool edc. Also I agree on this pen being cool but not for me I loose every pen I get so I cut down a Bic pen to fit in my leatherman sheath

Wow that catalog is beautiful! I still like to look at catalogs, the ability to flip pages and see products on paper creates a connection that can't be replicated electronically. I often print stuff from the web to read later.... But then I'm a Boomer......

I love a good catalogue. Theres been so many times withbso many companies that I didnt know they had a product because it didnt show up on their website for some reason. Or you have no idea what “category” it would be listed under and then surprise, its in a group that doesnt make any sense. I miss the good old days of being able to get a full catalogue sent to you before you even buy something so you can see what you want.

Cool pen! I think my craft blade set would fit that. It comes with 10 different blade shapes as well as a large flush cut wood saw.

Love it!! I’d keep the carbide scribe I think. My workplace doesn’t allow blades other than scissors. This could be a super helpful sharp object that isn’t a blade

Seems like you could even put micro bits in there or even very small drill. Bits to do some quick easy little hand drilling. Also failed to mention that if you’re caring this and you’re walking through a dark alley and you feel a little unsafe you can take the cap off and just keep it in your hand just in case and it’s a great non-lethal self-defense tool. I guess it could be lethal if you hit somebody just right in the head but that’s probably not gonna happen.

The CRKT Facet assisted folder is my current favorite edc knife. Just a wonderful piece on so many levels. Similar shapes as the Benchmade 940.

tbh, I'd buy it if it's pen and bit driver combined. And make the cap presure fit instead of screw on, for me, it just takes too much time to screw on and off.

$45 says CRKT doesn’t want make a serious effort to compete. $20,25 would be reasonable - $30 is pushing it. Good concept , awful price.

I think this might run afoul of dumb California knife laws: Penal Code § 20910 PC - Writing Pen Knives "a device that appears to be a writing pen but has concealed within it a pointed, metallic shaft that is designed to be a stabbing instrument…” And it's not like switchblades, which are just banned from carry, these are banned from possession.

Is CRKT a reputable brand? This is a serious question, from someone who only very occasionally buys knives (and my last purchase was a Case in a hardware store about 15 years ago, after I lost the Case my father gave me 20+ years before that to an airport checkpoint…my fault for not leaving it in the car!) There are a lot of “strange” brands on Amazon with 1,000’s of fake 5-star reviews…it is really hard to know what is a good quality brand versus something mass produced in a sweatshop but marketed as a quality item on Amazon…and then the blade bends when you try to whittle a stick to cook your marshmallow over the fire 😂 Thanks in advance for input

I bought this pen. The Schmidt ink cartridge that comes with it is terrible. Globs of ink come out while the pen is not in use. I have not been able to find a refill from a different brand that will fit. Does anyone know of a compatible refill? Thank you

Just curious... If you did put a craft blade in there would the cap still fit on the back? Are the blades narrow enough not to interfere with that?

yep, works perfectly with no interference. It however only works with a #11 and you need to make sure its all the way in.

man im so happy with my feldspar i love it i cant wait to buy a few more knives im aloud to spend like 30 dollars a month so i have to wait like 3 weeks before i can buy another knife but i will at some point so im so happy thanks brother lol what this is a pen no way who would of thought they make pens ive seen there knives before but not a pen thats crazy i dont wright so ill never buy a pen lol
