My 2024 M2 has the radar cruise control and I was able to install the mesh behind the cruise control unit. I also managed to install the screen without taking off the black trim. You do need to tape off the area where you slide the grill through or you definitely will scratch the black plastic. I used blue painters tape and it provided the protection. The grill sits further back but still protects the radiator. I also found the original clips that you pull out and then reattach don’t really hold the grill tight. The holes in the plastic grill are basically too big. I’m going to try some other pins that are slightly bigger to see if they hold it tighter. If you want the grill close to the front and you don’t have radar cruise control, get the first grill with zip ties, otherwise this grill sits pretty far back but easily fits behind the cruise control unit. I’m just interested in protecting the radiator so I don’t care about the looks. Installation without removing the black trim is doable but it was a struggle. It will fit through. I’m too lazy to remove the black trim for fear I’ll break something.
Using the mounting point was a great idea , it looks good however i would like a grill protector that is more forward to the front of the opening 🤔 it would protect the lower radiation as well.
Pros and cons to both I suppose. The one more forward makes cleaning behind the grille impossible though. When I took it off, you could see the huge collection of bugs and random debris.
It's nice to see more aftermarket products making it out to address this but this particular product does not seem to protect the oil cooler radiator as it's placed too far back. It would seem better for such a product to simply have the bracket structured differently so the mesh itself is further towards the front.

The first models had no protection. This one has protection except for the oil cooler.. I think so. Mount the protection flat on the oil cooler. I don't know where you can get something like that originally
Good vid I like your presentation just one problem I have with the product I mean the quality seems pretty good but I personally just don’t like how it looks to generic looking for me. I’ll wait for someone else to come up with a design I like better for myself. Thanks I’ll subscribe bro.
