For weapons, surplus is a great perk with Revenant because you get two melee charges. I’ve been running with a surplus Bottom Dollar or Stars in Shadow with headseeker. Bottom Dollar especially, feels amazing.
The fact hunters need to dodge and then hit two shurikens to freeze is asinine. Warlocks melee freezes, and their rift instant freezes as well. Plus shurikens are crazy weak as well and take just as long to charge. Balanced as well as most things in destiny I suppose 🤷🏻♂️
To be fair for comparing the class abilities, warlock rift has almost a 3x longer cooldown than dodge & you can’t just use it in the middle of a gunfight unless you’re behind cover while dodge you can use it right up in the enemies or just about anywhere
@@Gee-bg2rv yeah but it still instant freezes, and people use it right up close to freeze literally all the time it’s a very good move freeze through door or wall then step out melee to instant kill. I’m not saying one shuriken should necessarily freeze but it shouldn’t be more than two or one Dodge one shuriken. They should also do more damage or have significantly better tracking compared to what they do now. They’re so close to useless as they sit. Horrible tracking and next to zero damage.
@@Gee-bg2rv yeah that parts fair but rifts are super powerful as well. Instant damage boost or healing. When it comes to class ability times it’s a different story titans have one that completely dominates lanes, takes any person whose fingernail scratches it to 1hp and it has just about the same cooldown as a dodge that moves you two feet in any direction with a cool twirl in it 🙄
I've used this build since launch. Using harvest gives you a third slot for fragments. You could add Rime to your fragments. Gives you an overshield alongside of getting melee energy back.
I've been using this with bakris most consistently the last 2 years. Agree with the other guy that shurikens are stupidly weak compared to the other class meles. They stomped hunter revnant class after shatterdive and it really never returned but I still prefer to run it.

Question, could I theoretically use duskfields to cut off a line of sight from the enemy, because I’m pretty sure they are really dark to enemies but I can see clearly through them
@@vChilly yeah i use it alot its not that much of a difference 100 mobility is drfinitely needed i just like the more aggressive/defencive dodge since it lets me escape situations i otherwise wouldent have with the normal dodge
@@vinicius5564 but these things are super rare nowadays; nobody is using thorn and a single smg bullet is not worth sacrificing any mob or recovery IMO.
