Both games are great and both games got the shaft meaning no sequels because their respective studios got closed down not long after. RIP the future of both of these games. S/S more so since it ended on a cliffhanger.
Grid was the game that first showed me how much fun circuit racing can be (then Assetto Corsa dragged me into sim racing), I really didn't like Grid 2 though :D, Autosport was good but came out right before this generation of consoles...
I used to play this game in college with my friends and it was an unreal experience. I absolutely loved the game. If only this game had car customization and nos, it would have been my dream racing game.

I remember playing this game. It's one of the hardest game to get a 100% completion that i've ever played. I've managed to complete the game all the way to 100% and it's so satisfying
Nice to see an older game get recognition it deserves. Also the handling on the cars vary, some are really grippy and don’t drift well and some are really good drifters. And finally, drafting is just as good a way to gain power in the game :)
I'm just so surprised you never played this game before! My favourite car game ever... Beat the game 100% and loved every second of it. This was the race game missing on your channel. Better late than never, this is an amazing game and you are going to enjoy it... believe Me!
Hands down one of the most memorable racing games I owned on the X360, shame it didn’t get more recognition than it actually did. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for more of this game on your channel
YES! This was and still is a real underrated gem. I think I have played through this game three times already. This game was fun as heck. Especially when playing split screen with my lil bro. Great memories. This really needs a sequel. Yeah brake to drift playstyle but then again, this is pure arcade racing game but it packs some real fun into it. Some cars drift automatically without braking, those cars are even more fun to drive.
I keep my ps3 just for this game, so under appreciated, played so much of it i know the tracks off the back of my hand. I was hoping you would find the 3rd route changer on airport terminal. if one day it comes back, ill be one happy boy.
Hey BlackPanthaa this was my first ever car game since I was little and I love it so much. It’s 2 years later, but can you please bring more content? This game is too good to miss out on.
Ok a few things... -disney was the publisher not the developer, Black Rock Studios and Sumo Digital developed. -It was cursed to fail when it came out around the same time as 3 other racing games. I believe one was Blur and another was Need for speed. So it was overshadowed in its window of success. -all of your trophies you unlock are displayed as decals on your cars -Your game progress is displayed as the number on your car. When you 100% the events you are number 1. -i bought this game when it came out because it looked awesome. One of my favs -BlackRock studios closed and one big factor was because this game didn't do well. -it was an amazing game that never got it's time to shine.
Oh, my! What a pleasant reminder of this game. I loved this when it came out, but so many of my friends wouldn't even try it because disney was involved... real shame, seeing as its one of my favorite arcade racers of this era
Fun Fact: originally Black Rock studio was going to make an actual sequel to this game, however do to Disney shutting them down. To bad because this game ended in a cliffhanger.
SplitSecond was free on Xbox due to Gold, I always reffered to it as Watch Dogs as you could hack objects and cause mass destrruction when i was younger.
When i play this game first it was on the PSP and when i finish it, it was my favorite racing game, all the car and different type of challenge you have is so good And now i start to play it again on xbox 360
You wait til you finish the game where the biggest cliff hanger happens which will never be truly forfilled because the sequel to this gem was cancelled :(
I played this and Blur all day when they came out. I'm now expecting either to drop for the Switch. They're very high on my recommended list of must-plays.
I bought Split Second, Prostreet, Undercover, Full-Auto the game, NFS Rivals which I preordered and was massively disappointed, I got all of these games when they came out. I loved full auto cause it was basically split second but with guns on your car and I think there was boost and no break to drift
It sucks that we probably won't ever see a split second 2 since Disney shut down the company that actually produced it. It's similar to what happened with blur, where the publishing company didn't get the money they wanted so they shut down the company who actually produced the game.
I love the game, also... It's not a successor to Burnout, its a sequel to PURE, which is a ATV racing game, if you took the racing element of PURE, add cars on to it, at a road styled tack, and have Michael Bay create the game, it's pretty much Need For Speed mixed with Michael Bay. FUN FACT: All of the cars in Split/Second are based on real life cars
This game was so good 😊 .I’m actually glad this is your favorite. My favorite racing game imo is my first racing game Sega Gt Online because it introduced me to simulation racing and makes me the car guy I am today
I picked up this game when it came out also if you do the airport terminal race again if you save up the large power up twice the first time you can bring that tower down then you can actually make an ac130 crash into the air field and wipe out other cars
Daaamn, i remember when i was little and i convinced my dad to buy it, then he spent about half an hour unlocking the special disney car with code that the cover included.
The game is actually developed by Black Rock Studio (if I’m being nitpicky). Disney Interactive only published the game Also Split/Second (Velocity) was even the last game Black Rock Studio made, while Split/Second 2 was the last project that was in the works until it got shut down due to some shady stuff with the publisher. Weirdly enough. This game got a backwards compatible versions on Xbox One and PS4 (I think), which is weird cuz Black Rock Studio went bankrupt after cancelling the project.
I love split second you should continue the game it gets so much better. No nos though but who cares when you can blow stuff up. The time trial one is the best event you vs map

Split/second is still played in 2020 and is still alive only in ps3 and xbox a lot of players like me still play this game for fun so if you actually see this blackPanthaa I would appreciate if you could show off my channel or just play this amazing game in the ps3
In 2018, I can honestly say, Split Second is THE GREATEST RACING GAME EVER MADE. Man... it was good back then... now after playing a ton of racing games, I can say Split Second is THE GREATEST. Now The Crew is good too but they have alot they need working on...like the ability to sale your cars for money & parts. Some instead of letting them sit in my garage all day. But if you haven't played split second...your truly missing out.
this game came out and they had a massive give away in my primary school to all of the people in year 5(i was in year 5 back then) who had a ps3 or xbox, due to racism i didn't get one i asked and they said 'no' my parents asked and the school said they had to pay whereas all the others didn't. lol
if you like this, and haven't played it, i can totally reccomend motorstorm apocalypse. it's a little more brake to drifty than the other ones, but it's still a bit more skill based. also; don't get the downloaded version, the disk version has cheesy cutscenes that makes the story mode better.
This game was hard, I had it and then sold it and I literally had to buy it back. This gets a lot harder and the cars just get better and the races are off the chart its just amazing 👉make more you'll see its just so on point and to plays was the most exciting thing and even now I play it because its so good
I remember when this came out, also played the demo but never got the full game. I was interested in some other games at the time. My favorite racing game was Motorstorm.
Hey Theo u r playing one of my most loved and favorite games ever. Stil love to play it til this day I would recommend u try playing on pc and a good tip is kind of wait til the last split second to use your power play this game has alot of variety and can become super difficult at later stages but it's a really amazing game non the less good luck have fun looking forward to see you playing more of this
