First off, what kind of series marks off the track with metal t posts? Second, they had to expect someone to get hurt on that creek jump and they had no way to egress an injured rider other than using the secondary line? Doesn’t seem like the series owner thinks too many things through. Dalton passing the lappers in bottle necks is great, love the go pro footage.

On a serious note, do you think dalton puts himself at a slight disadvantage being on a 250f opposed to a 450 or even 350? or do the pros of a 250 outweigh the pros of a bigger bike?

Blake Bertani well the 450 has too much power for that type of riding they do and he doesn’t use all that power. So @riddle51 got a 250 because it’s good for the type of all riding they do. If he rode just track then I’m sure he would have a 450 or 250 2 stroke.

Hayden Dunbar i just feel like having a 450 in the situation where he sorta ran out of power over those roots on the hill where he had to push his bike or in the straight aways would be more beneficial. just wondering

The bike didn't run out of power the hill was steep and when he jumped those roots he lost speed and traction. Doesn't matter how much power you have when you have no traction or momentum on steep hills.

yeah you can stop half the riders if somebody is seriously hurt, getting them out safely is way more important than 2 minutes in a local hare scramble series race regardless of how important you think it is. That was a dick move waving them on and you all should be dq'd for keeping on going. Minus the shitty sportsmanship it was some great riding, great footage and nice editing.

and to add context so I'm not just some internet tool. I used to be firefighter/emt and ski patrol who handled alot of serious trauma issues. You were a foot from hitting that guy lifting the backboard, if you would have hit him and they would have dropped that guy it could have been the difference between a minor spinal injury to someone who is PARALYZED for life. You may think I am being extreme but that is why they take such great care placing someone on backboard, stabilizing neck with c-collar, taping head to backboard, and strapping body to board. Just something to think about next time your saying "fu*k them" and blowing past them lifting someone on a backboard.

I don't believe the guy marked the course with barbed wire, pretty sure that's for whatever livestock he keeps there. At least he allows races to be held there for you to race and enjoy. Yeah I know, you ran into some barbed before.

Why do some of the riders not have numbers? In my district you need at least a temporary number to race.

They have transponders, and a number on the side of their helmet.

@@ericthompson881 the number on the side of the helmet is the transponder number that is registered to the rider. So if you cut the track someone will turn in your number on your helmet or your lap time will off.
