I was lucky to work for a school that used Restorx for disaster remediation services. I had the privilege to attend a couple of their client bbq get togethers. They were great! Great food, good fellowship. I haven't stood in any gigantic lines that folks seem to equate with great food. But to each, his own. Ya'll have a great day.
Odoms ribs are wet and tender. Been going there since I was a kid. Grew up on it. If in Austin I like a no line bbq. Go to Whole Foods in the back So good and a hidden gem.
The best barbecue in Dallas are little hole in the wall places in the ghetto like Odom's BBQ in west Dallas and Mike's BBQ pit in Grand Prairie next door to Dallas

Yeah, sorry, not tryna' meddle and I appreciate ya'lls youtube hustle...but I gotta call cap. Danni is not on tape eating one piece of meat. The folk preparing that BBQ, is like a 4-day process. Those patrons at Cattleack and Pecan Lodge can afford to take long lunches to wait in thise lines, and pay those prices. So respectfully, if your going to hog a seat, at least eat the beef and/or pork. They have to procure that meat from local, Texas farms. Them grillmasters spend the whole week preparing the meat. In Texas, especially the hoods, you dont play with your food, pick over your food, or complain about your food...especially when you're a guest. BTW, Danni, in the south, southern mac n' cheese caint never be "heavy." Sorry to go in, but Texas culture is just a different animal.
