Mizumi in wynn was great. Craftsteak at mgm was solid. Hash house a gogo was awsome. Robertos on fort apache is comforting. Black bear dinner was a hang over life saver. Im excited to try every resturant in cosmopolitan, pizza was best in city
I lived in Las Vegas for 29 years and you missed out on a excellent restaurant, Americana off the strip at Desert Shores, located on the shore of the lake and affordable with the best food and steaks and seafood from chef owner Steven Blandino.
There used to be a great seafood restaurant in the Wynn hotel that shipped fresh seafood daily from Italy and elsewhere. I ate there four times and always had the best food and service. One time I almost ordered a fish dish for dessert. Too bad it's gone. I wonder where the chef went.
Hopefully all of these will keep some type of dress code in tact. Too many “fine” restaurants in Vegas have done away with any symbolism of dressing for dinner. Giada is so far the worse we’ve encountered. Ambiance is part of the price you pay, without that, the food can be minimized. Doesn’t have to be $1000 suits, but at least a button down without flip flops, etc etc
I’m actually the opposite. We leave on 10/24 and I’m worried we wouldn’t be dressed up enough. My husband is most definitely a shorts and hoodie guy but he does have dress clothes as well. He just basically lives in his work uniform haha! I have been trying to watch videos on the restaurant’s to see what everyone else is wearing there to help. I was shocked to see people in shorts and sandals while looking.
Good video but.... lol I’ve been to 7 out of 10 of these restaurants and I think imho you order is a little off. Love capital grille but should be on this list nor should top of the world. Guy Savoy should be way above both of those restaurants on this list too. Eiffel Tower, Steak(Ramsey), Delmonico, Mott 32 or Kame would be fitting replacements. But even disagreeing with those things I love the content and that your encouraging fine dining. 😉
@@trapgamer2576 ok tough on because not sure about your price range but $$ echo and rig( off strip) or mon ami gabi at Paris are cheaper. $$$ golden steer(of strip) or capital grille(on strip) are real good too. Check them out on Yelp look at menus and prices see if they fit your budget. Also check out my 9 tips on dining in Las Vegas video on my channel lol it’s helpful.
Omelet House. Traditional Vegas location offering myriad omelets and other breakfast favorites. Locals know.... The Capital Grille is a chain. It took to #2 to talk about a restaurant that wasn't in a Strip casino. Vegas has lots of local favorites that should have been considered. Geez, tourists, get away from the Strip and see what else there is! (Start with the Golden Steer for some 1950s-era steak dining.)
Exactly it’s good. Why does it matter if it’s a chain??? Gordon Ramsey restaurants are a chain. Most celebrity chef restaurants are a chain. Why does that matter?
@@rawgab4439 Yes, I Googled the steak that caught my eye, it's $ 215. Over priced but it's a once a year thing so I plan to go there when in Vegas next month.
@@jamaljamal6169 Oh ..No don't get me wrong ..I was not complaining ...believe me ..I once spent almost $300 on sushi I enjoy and look forward to those kind of events myself ..it was just a observation....please enjoy ;)
@@jamaljamal6169 Have you been to capital grille? It’s not even close to being in the league with the other restaurants this company owns it’s actually a fantastic restaurant from service to quality of product. And it’s ratings are off the charts on yelp and other platforms check out the menu see if yourself I’ve never known anyone to go there or not like it.
Too bad Mizumi has abruptly closed due to alleged sexual harassment from their head chef Min Kim. Wynn obviously have made the right ethical call by taking action, but it's still an unfortunate loss. 😥 Twist has also since closed. The only remaining choice I simply cannot agree with is Capitol Grill. It's the best of the generic higher-end steak chains, but still generic nonetheless. My picks to fill Capitol Grill, Twist and Mizumi's spots are Wally's at Resorts World, Le Cirque at Bellagio and Cathedral at Aria.
Good thing I'm not a fussy eater. These places look great, but I don't want to spend more for a meal than I did on my hotel and airfare. I'll stick with Maggiano's, or the steak house at Binions.
your right (Wynn is a awesome hotel, highly recommend staying, Encore too), never had a meal there where I said "wow, I am coming back"!.....PS, Cut is the best on this list, STK second and for the money and the old cheesy Las Vegas 'The Steak House'!
Go to the Taco Stand, It's fairly new to Vegas but we've had them in San Diego for quite a while. Get the sonora taco. You can thank me later. I've eaten at tacos el gordo as well out here.
I have been to some very nice restaurants in Vegas, but almost always find the food to be lacking entirely, over-priced and not living up to the hype. They just totally exploit the travelers and tourists for every dime.
No you wouldn’t. You’re just upset because someone called your bluff. I’ve eaten at Guy Savoy, and it’s exceptional. By the way, it’s pronounced “Ghee”.
What are you talking about "called our bluff" are you crazy? We have made a video to best of our ability and most people like it..... until you can be bothered to make one keep your nasty comments to yourself
Yeah sorry , but Capital Grille shouldn't be on this list. It's good, even very good by most standards, but not top 10 in any city. We have them here in Orlando, and they're not the best steakhouse in town, much less best restaurant.
@@ProphetsofTravel I guess just why have a corporate restaurant that you could have in any big city vs something that's unique to Vegas. Cap Grille is really just a cookie cutter spot without innovation. The other choices are all exciting, though!
@@ProphetsofTravel See that's fair. I'm always a privately owned restaurant person, but I always love seeing what other people think that's why we seek out videos like this😊
Las Vegas is home to some of the finest restaurants in the world....a long way from the years of 99 cent shrimp cocktails. I do not disagree with any of the restaurants listed here as top restuarants. However, I wish the narrator would learn to pronounce foreign name correctly.
The Capital Grille???!!! Are you kidding me?! What a joke of a chain restaurant. I wouldn't go there near home let alone on a vacation! You've lost your credibility with that included in your list
@@ProphetsofTravel How do you think restaurants get on the "10 best" lists? Its not clear anyone has even been to these restaurants. This could be read off their website. Most people actually go to the restaurants and have opinions of them. This was just a waste of 10 minutes of my time.
