The Best Robots of CES 2023, From Robot Pets To Humanoid Helpers 

Every year there are robots. The press hypes them. Most never get released and those that do, flop (largely because they are too expensive or are near useless, or both). This cycle repeats itself every. single. year.

luna looks promising. if it adds solid features for threat-identifiers (burglary, violence against home owners) and have ways to alert law enforcements in cases where humans arent able to make a call, that would be helpful.

I am waiting for the usefulness of robot taxis to expand so I can buy several for my taxi service.

What I would really like would be a version of the Vector Robot with brains. Such a robot that would simply roam around the house finding small items to pick up and take back to its' home base.

The robot pet would be perfect for my elderly father. He has real dog and it's great but he has a Har time caring for it. Plus traveling with it presents it's own challenges.

I will never replace a living dog with this robot pet, ever.

My wife keeps asking me to get her a dog... and I know who will be doing the walkies 3 times a day in all weathers(Yes I'm in the UK!!!) also picking up after it- so that Robot doggie seems perfect And at about 3000$ less than a live puppie it seems like a bargain- sign me up!!! BTW we already have 2 cats that hate each other and other animals!! Zoiks!😂💩🤮🤮🤮🤖👍👍👍👍👍👍

This year again all robots are crap as usual😂

Robots can never replace pets. Period. However smart they get they cannot be real intuitive as real pets, most of the commands/tasks they will do is really repeating themselves that you'll know in a week and get bored off in a month or so. .

Are you kidding me.... Making a list of advanced robots without mentioning (ASIMO) or (BOSTON DYNAMIC ROBOTS) is shocking... Lady you have no Idea what are you talking about 😅
