The regular design of the wedge style tents is the reason I never wanted one, I'm tall, and I need that extra bit of height for my feet. I like the design of this tent. Thanks for the video.

Such a sweet new setup! Congrats, bro! You're so right, the fewer barriers we have to doing fun things, the more likely we are to do that. I'm hoping this holds true for us with the addition of your FSR. Such a much better and faster setup than our old ground tent setup!

I’ve been researching rooftops for 5 years. Especially the last two, as I’ll be on the road almost full time. So it’s important to me. The front runner for me so far is Alu Cab Gen 3.1R. ANY Tent, including Barnum's big top, that can fit this guy in has to be countable and huge. Always look after a really big man, like this one, to choose your tent space.

Though I consider these wedge style tents not clam shell (iKamper types are clam shell to me). I really like that tent but I will never go with a wedge style because I don't want to have to above the cab on height which with wedge style tents you have to on mid size trucks like we have. 23zero and I think Colorado 4x4 have that "x frame" in their clam shell tent and I do love them for the same reason you listed about this one and if I ever switch out tents that's what I'll go with. Can't wait to see the bed rack video.

Looks like a nice tent. Curious how that outer bracing by where your feet would be would hold up to the winters? I'd be concerned that it would ice up and be hard to close

@BakerOverland actually there is a difference between them the scissor hinge is outside of the tent material on the 23zero vs inside on Colorado 4x4 which helps keep the tent material stay in when closing. But yeah pretty much the same thing
