nice vid dude. i'm pumped to get this. i've been suffering with cataloging drum samples for too long. imagine if this evolved to VR mode and you could swim thru a sea of crazy beats

This is an Apple specific question, but doesn't Apple File System know not to have actual duplicates on the drive? I mean if it is the same file, I think it is just a index file and does not take additional storage.

How did you get Host Sync to work? I have Presonus Studio One. Maybe it isn't compatible with my daw?

Hi, do you know if you can play your arrangement in your DAW and then audition beats from XO? at the same time. You know, like auditioning just the Kicks in your current DAW track arrangement. Thanks,

@@ComposingGloves Hey composing I had a quick question. With XO how would one go about taking the beat one created from XO and putting it into the daw/mixer slots for further manipulation? I made a beat but can't edit it (such as eq the kick, then snare) It only gives the option to render out as wav or each individual stem but without the arrangement i made in XO....

When I heard google created this AI based organization I wanted it for NI Battery or m4l. It would massively speed up my workflow if this sample organization could integrate well into m4l especially.

It would be cool if it could organize all similar samples into 128 velocity tiers so you can have a snare that sounds different at each velocity level since it's actually a different sample at each velocity level. This would need normalization methods to choose from to automatically set all samples at a relative volume.

my ableton won't open xo since i got it last night, got it running in reaper, everything seems to be in the right place, anyone know what i can do? it finds the vst but when it tries to open it just crashes

I've seen it work on Andrew Huangs channel in Ableton so odd's are its an install problem? IDK, sorry I can't be of more help here. I'd check their site and reach out to them for help. Sometimes in other DAW's ive used the vst3 file can cause issues and I've just gotten rid of it to fix stuff. I can't remember if XO has a vst3 file but if it does you could try that.

@@ComposingGloves I've moved all the xtra files out, and it's just a dll; it shows up in the ableton list, tries to load and crashes, runs fine in reaper, and the standalone won't run either, I've had graphics problems with a few vst's, maybe that's the problem? or too many samples? but the cpu doesn't seem to bad, i dunno thanks though, trying to reinstall with xln doesn't seem to work either? I'll try to get in touch with them
