The amount of grip and general strength that girl would have needed to catch herself like that and not only not slip but pull herself back up is insane. It's like some shit you'd see in an anime
@@hans3221around 80% of the adult population can’t do ONE regular pull-up. let alone by their fingertips or in a very high pressure situation like this. It was impressive and it’s as simple as that lol
That lady that caught herself falling with her fingertips has to be one of the most impressive physical feats I’ve seen. The reaction time, coordination, and strength is nuts. There’s some luck with it of course but my goodness!
That second girl was BY FAR most impressive. They're all incredible, but basically just incredible reflexes paired with good luck... the strength in her grip to catch herself after a 4ft fall is madness. My fingertips would have snapped right off.
The last one looks impressive, but he still had momentum on his side. Sandy and Leif absolutely clutched their saves through monstrous willpower and grip and core strength with absolutely zero momentum on their side.
Exactly kind of. Sandy’s is still impressive but if you watch it again you can see that the stopped her downward movement on the top of the board, then realized her grip wasn’t good enough so switched down to the lower one.
True but with that spring there he literally had to do that in the split second or he wouldn't have recovered that because the spring would have absorbed any momentum he tried to build after
Leif Sunbergs will forever be the craziest. You don't understand how incredibly difficult it is to grab footing until you've been in that position. His body control there was immaculate.
Way too smooth with it lol. I didn't know that (or maybe I did at one time but forgot by the time this clip came back around), but it makes perfect sense. It's funny how the way people move their body, even outside of their sport or field of focus, can telegraph how they were trained.
I think that Sandy Zimmerman’s clip is probably the most impressive, but I was actually there for Daniel’s save in person! Definitely the craziest moment of the night.
Honestly the one where the woman full body slammed the board and yet managed to catch her whole body weight on her fingertips after being winded like that was insane! The last one was impressive, the second last really smart but her one was downright incredible since that woulda HURT!
Sandy Zimmerman was by far the most impressive. The grip strength to keep herself from falling was INCREDIBLE. She was determined to not fall off and it showed Edit: CAN YALL STOP WITH THE ROBLOX/FURRY ARGUMENTS? It's not that deep LMAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@ConnorMahon-gp2ie grip strength one is waaaaaay more difficult. She basically did the same thing with her finger tips that he did with his hands, arms, and lats. Only climbers can do what she did. Insanely more difficult than majority of athletic feats you’ll see in general, let alone in this video.
@@OnJahseh oh wow you checked my profile! good for you, i dont play a “climbing game”, they are called obbies, short for obstacle courses. but anyway, you probably dont care. i am a climber though, i rock climb, plus me playing roblox has nothing to do with if i rock climb or not?
No techincally if you look the water didn’t move because of him. The way it was rippling because the pole moved. If his foot had touched it would have rippled a different way.
Imma be that annoying guy (for the laughs though); no, no it's not. For shinobi it's being a sneaky little shit that's going to abuse any and all things within reach, including religious beliefs, basic decency and your own family. A shinobi that fights fair was never a shinobi to begin with. Or you caught them before they had time to run away.
@99Em07 You watched the show so I guess you would know🤦🏽♂️ Except you’re exactly wrong, he was DQed because his toe scratched the surface of the water as was clearly evident by the many replays they showed before disqualifying him. But, you watched the show, right🙄
I just met Sammy Zimmerman at my highschool. She gave a speach to my class for graduation literally just a few hours ago. To sum up some of her story, when she was young everyone doubted her. She then became good at fighting and won tournaments. Her first step to getting on American ninja warrior was that she did a dead hang for over 9 minutes and beat all the girls and guys around her. When she applied for American ninja warrior the lady thought that she was picking up her children at the play area and it offended her lol. Also side note she’s built asf to this day. She still looks very healthy and strong. Also random note to pass on from her to anyone reading this, she challenges us to everyday write 5 goals and dreams and it can be the same goals and dreams everyday.
I actually remember watching the second one when the episode came out. The way he manages to get his feet onto the back roller to keep himself balanced was so cool
Especially since Enzo was even there for that one, I had the very same thought. But I'm sure there are more than enough amazing saves to make a Part 2 🤔⚡
The woman catching by her fingertips was probably the most difficult recovery, with the roller guy close behind. The last one that flipped under the springboard looked the coolest
Sandy's core strength is crazy, basically she had to stop her legs from swinging so hard that she would lose grip in her fingers. You can see her legs start to swing back and then grind to a halt instantaneously. BEAST
ive seen that last one so many times and yet it still absolutely blows my mind 🤯🤯🤯 the insane amount of core, grip strength, and timing was needed to clutch that one up.
I never got into American Ninja Warrior, but I loved the OG Ninja Warrior. Makoto Nagato, Bunpei Shiratori, Daisuke Nakata. Shingo Yamamoto. All names that live in my head when I havent watched the show in 15+ years since it was on G4.
Fun fact: the last guy, Danell Lleyva, is a gymnastics world champion (parallel bars in 2011). He won silver on high bar and parallel bars at the Rio Olympics.
I like how the last guy was smart and let his momentum aid his recovery. So many wouldve paused and let their swing come to an end and have to yse solely their own strength
