It's ok. Just need to put 4th gear as "down shift" and 3rd as "up shift". I personally use it the most as handbrake for wrc

@@prancesco15but where can i choose to set 3 and 4 gear to up and downshift?? Ive been looking both in Gt7 settings and in Thrustmaster calibration.. and still cant manage to do this..

As i wrote in different comments, in GT7 you can't because they dont let you change settings for the shifter 😢​@hifiman-7

Affiliate links with wrong thing to buy is messed up.... If your reading this the link for the spacers is wrong they are way to stiff and have no bounce back if you cut them short enough for the shifter to read it they wont bounce back but if you dont cut it at all its stiff with no movement he is clearly using softer bushings than what he links

I think it would be possible with this mod.

dont buy thrustmaster. get direct drive (Moza R5, Fanatec CSL DD, or the Cammus DD Wheel)

@@CoolD10 yikes I was going to get the Thrustmaster t300 rs with Th8a and lcm-pedals. What's wrong with Thrustmaster? first one I am buying ever. Any help would be appreciated.

@@Omer-xb2gk the thrustmaster is good, its just there is alot better options for the price. i recommend the fanatec csl dd which you can get the wheelbase, wheel rim, and loadcell pedals for around $500 or $600 for a xbox compatable version. a good thing about them is you can get basically exactly what you need. if you dont need it to be xbox compatible you can save $100 if you dont need loadcell brakes you can save $120 if you decide later down the line you need more force feedback you can upgrade from 5 to 8nm for an extra $150 or do it right when you get the wheel for $100. the biggest difference between this and the thrustmaster is thrustmaster is belt driven and fanatec is direct drive meaning the force feedback does straight from the motor to the wheel without getting slowed down by a belt.

For consoles only with a thrustmaster wheel, for PC just use the usb Kabel abd it eill work with any wheels

@@JC-Zoso I tested manual shifting on PC and it worked properly, I didn't try it on PS5, but it has to work. If it works on PC, it has to be the same on PS5.

@@Andrew-iy8kl the list of supported peripherals dont mention any shifter support for consoles. Only for pc. But its great news that your th8s works when a game mentions th8a in its compatibility list

Yes, it is no problem, but you must cut enough from the spacer.
