I’m from Staffordshire UK, birthplace and world headquarters of JCB and I drive past their factory/world headquarters weekly and it’s always impressive see just how far JCB have reach around the world, Joseph Cyril Bamford founded a company so impressive, it always make proud just how far his idea has come and how far it stretches.
Volvo has one as well and don't forget if you do lots of stuff by yourself this is a game changer. When i would do work around the tow yard it's almost impossible to do anything by yourself ! A regular style skiddy the bucket has to be up or down and when the boom is up it's not only unsafe but extremely uncomfortable to try and get in and out of
We have 2 of these at work. Both have bent the booms and the ac went out in the first 70hrs. Not the machine you want if you do any dirt work. It's a landscape design
I agree that the hydraulics need some serious tuning, it’s a good machine I plowed snow with the demo the other day snd I liked it. It seems like the loader controls are slow and the track controls are too touchy. If they can change that they need to start doing it from the factory because everyone I’ve seen run these does not like the control sensitivity. Also if $90k, why is there now backup camera? All the competitors have gone with cameras? The mirror doesn’t show you much. In a parking lot plowing I couldn’t see if cars were 15ft behind me
That’s something I hate about some of the machines. I hate my bosses TAK tl140 it bogs down and just isn’t very good but I love the door on it how it rolls up instead of swings open. I was unloading a drum of tar out of a pickup bed alone so I had to get out with the bucket about half way up and with a machine with a door that swings open out of the front that wouldn’t have been possible unless I’m missing something and they also roll up too.
If building a house I'd rather have an Excavator it's like a crane only with a boom arm you can set roof trust easier take the bucket off put a hook on it's a crane
The weight in the bucket makes no difference if it’s one boom or 2.. if the weight is on the left side of the bucket then the left wheels will be taking most of the weight regardless if the boom is on the right side
