For all improvement where you claim no more or very little scratches, it's unwise to assume Valve will keep them as such until full release. They are likely working on how to implement float wear on weapon in cs2. Also every update we can see skins and stickers getting tweaked and fixed. DO NOT INVEST based on what you see and observe during closed beta. It's too unreliable and will likely get patched within the incoming weeks !
That is one of the easiest things in the world to implement. Anyone with basic photoshop skills and even less coding experience could do that. So im not buying that they failed to do this.
@@YusuphYT To replicate wear, you would have to know how to program algorithms, and you would have to know how to manipulate the UV of a model, and than do that for multiple different rendering layers. I think you're confusing the masks you put on UV's to enable wear versus the actual algorithm that makes it possible. I'm not trying to make it sound complicated, but I do think you are sort of underselling just how much of an innovation float values were for CSGO. More than likely, valve is still just working on improving the way that wear works in CS2. We've already seen that with gloves, instead of looking "Peeled", the gloves actually seem to crack and fall apart.
@@YusuphYT well you are delusional if you think they will keep this as such until release. Doing so would just mean float value is irrelevant for many skins and heavily affect the economy. Also i never said they failed doing it, I just highlighted that they haven't done it yet, regardless of the complexity of the task.
Same goes for snake camo scope. This already happened with the sun in leo and some other. The chances are certainly not low that it'll get changed. You simply can't start changing all skins from one game to the next as it can hugely affect the market value. Wonder if the case hardened gloves will stay like they are.
We can see several scratches in some spots on the skins he shows, for an example the Desert Eagle Night in the front of the barrel, as well as the P250 Whiteout has many scratches in the front too. If the skins were set as a 0 float, then why would they have scratches, wouldn't they be 100% perfect?
@@Zencsgodknope, actually on some skins even a float of 0 wouldn't eliminate all scratches. noticed that on a skin inspect server in CS:GO where you can generate items with 0 float
I kinda hope that with future updates to CS2 they will be adding depth and a golden feel to Lore skins And other visual improvements to skins since every skin should be improved upon
I still think there'll be a seperate update for the skins and people shouldn't hype too much for the changes we see now. For me it looks like they made Fade and the Dopplers look good for the initial hype and some of the skins just kinda slapped on the new models for tests. We could see it with the scope colored AWP's, every skin looking close to float 0 even in BS which Ohnepixel addressed multiple times and knifes like damascus steel or blue steel (witch was actually "fixed" since the last update but I personally liked the old dark matt blue steel) but I think there's so much stuff to do with the game that Valve will not focus on the skins rn. I personally think the finalised skins will be on the game launch and not in the beta So don't be dumb and save money
I got a Flip Knive Vanilla in a giveaway back when it was worth like under 60 Euro. In the big spike i sold it for 718 Euro because people think it looks nice in CS2. Thank god I didn't sell back in the day!
The thing is the 3D look on skins is actually 3D and not just an illusion because if it would be painted on 3D then it would not get affected by light when inspecting.

just a disclaimer before anybody buys these skins, the only reason all the skins have no scratches is because cs2 hasnt implented float yet so all skins are fn 0.000000 float
1. pretty much any knife, my mates got buttplugs tigertooth FN, they look alright in csgo, but in CS2 they looook so sexy, especially because they fixed the little weird crosshair movement when you pulled them out in csgo
Seeing that sustenance pin shows you exactly how good glitters are going to look in CS2 once Volvo fix them too, they'll probably shine a little more as well due to the normal mapping the glitter stickers utilise.
lets not forget the jpeg pattern bug for case harded gloves being fixed with all correct patterns and " blue gem gloves" means clutch case will sky rocket.
I mean factory new skins really shouldn't have any scratches. Thats the point of it being new out of the factory, never used. csgo looks like someone dropped the guns and scratched them
I laughed so hard at the anomaly three viewer joke i sent this video to the VP of my company. He doesn't even play any video games but i just know i have autism.
It's nice that they changed those skins that were super scratched up for no goddamn reason. Factory new skins should look factory new and the fact that some of those older skins looked shit and scratched up even in factory new was really stupid, what's the point of a such grading system if no version of it actually looks new and nice? Good that they changed it but I don't know why it wasn't like that from the getgo.
