I think it's definitely one of the most next-gen modlists, but it's hard to call any modlist "the best" when there's so many good Wabbajack modlists out there. I love Vektor though. He is a top notch guy and I think that Nolvus probably has the most wide-spread appeal of any modlist for sure.
I just installed this pack because of this video. I'm really liking it so far. It looks great, but i may reinstall with the ultra pack. Maybe a mistake, but the performance pack is running so well i think my PC may be able to handle a little more
Try it! I actually was running the higher version pretty well but I accidently used the maximum mending spell which drops the frame rate so I thought I had to switch to the redux version
I'm new to modding and am working on getting Nolvus installed but my RAM is half of what's needed (16 instead of 32). I plan on disabling a few texture mods to make the game run smoother. I just don't know which mods to disable because from what little I do know about modding, certain mods require other mods to work.
Run the redux version and toggle all the performance options during install, you can also join the discord to ask if there is anything else you can disable
thank you so much for this i have been kicking getting back into skyrim and this pack seem to have it all as i was looking for something similar to the old LOTDB Plus
Kinda feels like they attempted to make an entirely new game out of Skyrims engine rather than simply improve it. Looks and plays nothing like an Elder Scrolls game.
I've tried to play this mod pack maybe 3 times before. Everytime I try the game doesn't run well. Constant crashes and bad stability. And that's on a 4090... Hopefully 4th time is the charm...
Installation is straight forward but I'm new to modlisting and am not finding a lot of tutorials on how to customize it. I don't consider Nolvis newb-friendly but I'll keep plugging away at it.
Unless something has changed in the last few months, first person combat did not work. It kept forcing me to 3rd person anytime I entered combat. I loved the graphics and features, but prefer to play in first person
@@JonnnyFive this was back when V5 was still beta. Shooting bow and 1 hand weapon, I'd swing once or twice and game would swap to 3rd person. Sounds like that has changed.
I am looking forward to checking this pack out, once Bethesda gets off their paid mods 'maintenance' update and actually lets us download the CC content again. The sheer fact it has an auto installer is also really nice - my time with manually creating mod lists has come and gone.
Should work perfectly fine but you might still get a few frame. Stutters and a bit bit of input delay because of the amount of mods and how much resources it takes up
Hey so my pc consists of a Ryzen 3 Processor and GTX 1650. Would my PC be able to handle this? If not, what would be a good recommendation on what to change to in order to run this list?
!! ATTENTION !! This ONLY works with the Anniversary Edition. I just made 2 accounts, read and clicked with care the stuff. Just wasted 1h doing this. -.-
Does it have frostfall, campfire, last seed, hunterborn? Does it have all the major quest new land mods? Which combat mods does it have? all these things would have been interesting.
Once you download the mod pack to a folder how do you actually get it to run when launching the game? Sorry I am an older gamer and new to PC but this looks insane haven’t played Skyrim since launch and definitely didn’t look anything like this. Any help from anyone is appreciated. Thanks
I can't complete the download because an error keeps appearing saying: "Error during mod installation (Tamrielic Grass) with message: Unable to download file..". it also happens with "Nature of the wild lands". Any suggestions?
Can't imagine you're getting 60fps often with this mod list without comprising greatly with some visual settings. Maybe squeak out a few more frames with Skyrim Upscaler for ENB - but yeah, I don't know, looks like mod pack with a lot of fat that should be trimmed.
tried on like 10 different occasions to download this to no avail. 3-4 of the 2000+ mods simply refuse to download every single time. High poly heads, reshade binaries are the two that come to mind.
Given it works, it would b best by default because any other way of installing massive amounts of mods just results in broken Skyrim; way too finicky once you get a bunch of mods
Sadly, Creation Club servers have been down for over a week, with no offline dependency management for Nolvus for CC content. This means that the modpack is uninstallable/dead in the water. Really wanted to try this modpack, but it's unusable for the time being.
So on the Nolvus page it says you have to use a Steam Anniversary edition only for the mods to work. That's fine but in the past I've had my Steam version of the game modded just how I want it, start to get into a new game and then Steam force through a game update and the mods are screwed which makes me stop playing the game again. I'm not someone who's really interested in looking at the mod lists and figuring out which one got broken and trying to figure out how to fix it, remove it or whatever. Basically what I want to know is if I install this mod pack on the Steam copy of my game, are the mods going to be broken whenever a random update for the game gets downloaded? I'm dying to play Skyrim again but fully modded in such a way that I won't ever change the mods myself or have them broken through game updates. It's too much of a hassle to invest hours of gameplay in to find a game update through Steam ruins your mod pack
For some reason, whenever I approach NPCs they have generic names "Breton Male" until I talk to them, then their actual name will appear. Any idea which mod is causing this? I've tried google but can't identify any of the suggested mods in the NOLVUS mod list.
While being the least Skyrim feeling modlist, this list is certainly the most comprehensive. Only downside I foresee, is even for the non-casual modder, resolving any conflicts in such a huge list is gonna be a headache.
I'd say the combat is the biggest difference from vanilla. If you're looking for a vanilla-plus feeling MCO is the last mod you'd use for that, as it changes the combat gameplay into a souls-like. Your feet will be stuck to the ground while attacking, you can no longer run around while swinging your sword
Been trying to get vagabond to work but even woth gigabit speed internet it took forever and even longer to install and then ended up not working. I'm excited to try this modlist instead!
Hey, I've been having problems only with the "traveling mage armor" mod and I've already tried downloading it manually but it still gives me an error. Don't you know any solutions?
I'm new to modding. I tried it once but it completely broke Fallout 4 to the point reinstalling the game wouldn't work. Is it a good idea to install the mod pack along with DLC & monster mods? I want to play those mods that involve completely new areas with new quests, as well as new enemies, but idk if they'd go with this huge mod pack or not, I really don't knoe much about mods tbf, so ifk what mods can go with others. Or, does this mod include such things like extra mod content like areas, quests, enemies & weapons? Or is it just a big overhaul pack?
This mappack is a bit confusing. it could do without a few mods like the lunar companion and i couldnt figure out how to turn it off. i might give it another try sometime
Nice modpack expect... 32 RAM Core i7 7000 Series VRAM : 8 Gb and 345 Gb of space on an SSD for bare minimum are there any modpacks that are good that can actauly be run by normal people?
i really want to like this modlist but the balancing and progression is just eh, i always start it up and feel immediately strong as hell even on higher difficulties.
IMO, hard no. Even the lightest package they offer requires minimum a GTX 1080. Your CPU is also close to the threshold, but will probably suffice. 32GB is the recommended ram amount, and I assure you...youre gonna need it.
Simply amazing this Pack!! Thank you so much for the hard Work. Cant install mods by my own, so this is perfect for me 🤩 Three questions: How can i disable the fps in the left top corner? And its possible to set more carrie for the bags? Can i change the fighting system Without much knowledge? Thats the only thing i dont Like here Thx 😊!
I can't complete the download? It gives an error when I reach High Poly Heads, stating that too many request are being made from the google server where the mod is hosted. It will not allow me to skip or anything. I tried downloading it manually but it still does not recognize it as installed. Any suggestions on what I can do to resolve this?
It looks amazing but the graphics requierements looks a bit too high for my computer in minimal (32go RAM and 8go VRAM in minimal) Do you guys know if the game still run in good condition? I got a AMD R5 5600X / AMD 5600XT 6go VRAM / 32go RAM Just wanna know if my pc is gonna join Karlach in Hell
Did you say 6gb on vram? If so you’d need at least 8 to run redux but ideally you’d want 10 or above for a smooth experience. With 32 you’d need to increase your page for to balance out that ram to prevent crashing 64gb ram and you won’t need to worry about it at all.
Pretty sure it uses LUX for a lighting engine. LUX appears to rely on diegetic light sources, so if there isnt a source there, you get no light, part of the reason why its very dark. ITs probably the most realistic lighting engine for Skyrim, and the closest we will ever get to Ray-tracing.
