I have the Universal Plus Bosch as well as the Nutrimill Plus Mill. I use Hard Red wheat using your Basic Bread Recipe. My husband and I can only eat 1 loave a week so I d freeze the other 2, unless I gift a loaf. But usually if I gift, I will double your recipe with no problems. I do use Sunflower oil and Sunflower Lecithin. Sometimes I will add Flax seed it I have it.. When I freeze my loaves. I just add to a plastic bread bag, which I use the 2 ml 100 pkg with ties, at Amazon. I will add 2 pieces of the perforated paper towel on top to wick away any moisture once it thaws. So, I usually bake every 3 weeks unless in gift it or we may eat more. Each loaf last all week long on my table no problem. I live in Tulsa are, Oklahoma.
Is because of you and this channel we purchased our grain mills and wheat berries a few months ago, and we have been milling ever since. I got rid of every store bought flour we had. I don't regret it especially since my diabetic husband can eat grain breads and pasta without a blood sugar spike. THANK YOU
You caught me with the 45 minutes! I'm a busy mom to a toddler and you just helped me so much! We skip burgers all the time because of how long buns take. Thank you!!!
I 110% understand this to my core lol To keep little ones busy, I may give them some dough to make their own bread themselves (and yes I will bake it and all, and they love it). With these buns, they would enjoy flattening them! :-)
Just made them, and they are so good. I can't wait for my family to eat them for supper tonight. I am so very thankful for you. You do such a great job teaching in your videos and I have learned so much from you. @GrainsandGrit
I have an easier and quicker recipe (no yeast). I use the viral cottage cheese bagel, using einkorn instead of almond flour, and just plop them (without the hole), bake as per direction, and boy it sure makes a sturdy, healthy, and fast bun. It’s the most delicious and quick bun recipe I know of, and highly recommend if you’re in a pinch. Ps it stands up to fillings quite well. Thanks for letting me add my 2 cents.
@@GrainsandGrit thank you so much for this recipe. I used 1 T yeast and half hard white and half soft white. Took about 25-30 min to raise. These are so good!! Perfect for tomorrow’s grilling day.
