Will SolarEdge develop metered collar device which allows backup without the expensive backup disconnect device?

You need the Backup Interface to disconnect from the grid, and you also need a N - E relay to connect in off grid mode.

But the weak point is that we cannot add on a Wind Turbine output. A small turbine could be setup to feed DC to the inverter to keep the battery topped up. Power outage through a winter night the battery won’t last long. I cannot get any positive info out of Solaredge.
