Great video!!! Finally someone brought up the Hexos Ward set! This set is INSANE for solo play, i've been using it since its release, paired with False God and Pale Order on my solo magdk build and it's almost unkillable due to the infinite sustain, lifesteal and huge shield up all the time...

Yea hexos’ is awesome and I hope what happened to ice heart while back doesn’t happen to hexos’. Hexos with tzogvin and stormfist is a favorite of mine on stamsorc.

I’m a solo player. Just got the companions so now just looking for something that will keep me alive for the most part. I’m only a level 18 with my main character. Great video again man! Keep up the great work thanks for sticking with us!

If you havent already start crafting, you won't regret it later down the line, especially for recrafting sets you pick up (sticker book) and the level 50 skill to reduce materials needed!

Love these kinds of videos as I'm always exploring new armor options for my character. The only thing holding me back is giving up Mothers Sorrow. To say I worked hard for the items I have would be the understatement of the century. Eventually I'll get over this though. Many thanks @brah we got this :-)

My main is a warden and for his solo set up I been running the reworked Crusader set which is a TON of damage, Hexo's Ward and Ice Heart. One stampede procs all 3 shields and completely covers my health bar not to mention the shield from Carve lol. With less harder solo stuff I swap Ice Heart for Selene and it kills !

I got my first piece as part of a story reward and was like wait...what does that set do!! I'm never sure what is the best pve / solo set when new stuff keeps coming out. Thanks to this video I'm getting a complete set. Thanks so much!!

Xlnt vid. They defo are the best solo sets. If you can’t get the trial sets, for magic I run o/surge on my maglpar (& hexo’s) it sustains as well as FGP. Damage is great too. Cheers.

Have to rock ring of the pale order if soloing. I know it’s not a set but still much needed for soloing.

I'm using almalexia mercy or call of the Undertaker, with a great pool for main resources you can get a great boom of cure in the almanexia, and for the undertaker i just need to keep 2 dots up and get a massive heal against many enemies

Good suggestions. I wanted to add that if people really don't wanna do trials for false god then dreugh king slayer is an amazing option. It gives you major expedition after killing an enemy also with 2 lines of spell damage, a line of crit change and major brutality and major sorcery with 100% uptime. It comes from one of the easiest dungeons in the game which you can solo also.

Does hexo ward proc count towards the cooldown so if u keep hitting crit, theoretically you will have a shield all the time, 6 seconds ends, and 7th second new shield pops with crit damage?

I find it interesting that you need to do large group content (trials) for sets that can optimize solo play. That kind of defeats the point of being a solo player? If I’m running trials, I’m not exactly worried about optimizing solo play sets. I’ll probably stick to Briorheart, but a 15 sec cooldown just doesn’t seem very effective in encounters where the damage is constant.

Brother, can you explain the "smart RNG" system. I watched your video on it, but it doesn't explain if you need/want more than 1 of an item. I need 4x one dagger. Did this going to make it harder to farm for for multiples?? I didn't know this was a thing.

Did they nerf Briarheart at some point? I was thinking it was possible to have a 100% up-time, not 10 seconds every 15 (best case)? I also thought the heal was slightly stronger (like around 115).

I think it always had that 5 sec downtime. I believe the heal is based off max health or stam now so tooltip went down a bit but the heals can crit now.

@@philhearn4240 Thanks. I've never really used it. People were price-gouging when I needed it (and I have a bit of an aversion to "you have to use X gear" metals).

i didnt think deadly strike would proc on sweeps, as sweeps no longer are counted as DOT, they are now AOE and DIRECT, right? or are they still also DOT and channeled? that would be insane

Direct aoe channel now so deadly will buff it 15%. My magplar is happy with it😁.

No not specifically for channels I believe.
