First time ever seeing this mod and damn, kudos to whoever made this. The movement mechanics are so incredibly dynamic, visceral, look super tight and responsive, and most importantly they look infinitely satisfying and powerful. It really feels like you are breaking the sound barrier at every turn. Even with how powerful boost is in Unleashed, this feels even more powerful, as he flies through the air. The drifting and air momentum changes are also so well implemented to complement the sheer speed and launch power he has. I'd kill for a mainline Sonic game with this level of style, control, speed, and power
Honestly this model clearly had a lot of work and thought put into it. I love that while it's a 3D model I can't help but watch it in action and it feels almost like it's the 2D animation model. Right down to the fact the model's animations don't move smoothly.
This is really peak Sonic and something I would’ve loved to see in the official games. What Sonic X explored but no game or show explored in the future was Dark Sonic, which I really would’ve loved to see Sonic get to such a low point that he just harnesses the dark energy of the chaos emeralds and mentally deteriorate after potentially losing his friends or when they’re in some imminent peril. I’m sure the comics explore this a bit but I want the Dark Sonic form in a game
fun facts super sonic oneshots the fang boss his ring burst, chaos lambient (press fire while flying), and chaos kick thing (when u press c2 twice), all do 3 damage to bosses, and he passively deals 2x the normal damage any form of the ring burst gets rid of the invincibility frames on a boss, but super sonics goes through the electricity that the brak egg has (and dark super sonic aswell) any version of dark sonic has a ring burst that lasts longer with a power ring (dark super sonic has the same ring burst as super sonic, so it wouldnt use it up.) you can beat arid canyon with super sonic in under 20 seconds with (mostly) the ring burst alone! dark sonic's phase 1 doesnt have any finishers other then the stomp the most overkill you can get is 7, phase 2 has finishers and the combo lasts longer the finisher being you glide across the ground when u press c2 max overkill is 10, dark super's got everything, heck you can hold down spin for a second and you would initiate the combo immediately, also when you hold down c2 briefly then let go 3 times, it deals more damage then spamming c2. dark super sonic, super sonic, and any version of the ring burst cant die from the void/ falling, dark super sonic removes 5 rings if you do fall, while normal super sonic just initiates the flight, (if your stunned and you fall into the void as super sonic, you just loose 5 rings aswell, probably the ONLY super form ever made that lets you survive that). "deletexemeralds darkerr" is the command that lets you go into dark sonic, and if you do it when ur in dark sonic, it takes you to the next phase, and it doesnt activate cheats so its extremely op in terms of story mode, especially since you get all the dark emeralds from it, just be careful not to overuse it, the dark emeralds reset after this is activated. (im gonna figure out how many overkills it takes for you to go into phase 3 for dark sonic in a bit.)
@@TheGamer1445_Xbox it's not 3D it uses to describe it's an effect of 3D it just turns around and switches the Sprite so it is technically 2D with three dimensions

so once you download the model file aka peppermint model u go to srb2 models text file named model and the peppermint model text file named read me and once u done you copy the sonic X texts and add it to the srb2 text file named model and after u save it and join the same and it should work and if my explaining didn't work my bad i ain't good at explaining things
after downloading the models you go to srb2 folder, then you find models.dat file, and add these 3 lines XSONIC PEPPERMODELS/XSONIC.md3 2.4 0.0 XSONICSERIOUS PEPPERMODELS/XDARKSONIC.md3 2.4 0.0 XSONICOVERLAY PEPPERMODELS/XSONICOVER.md3 2.4 0.0 put the zip archive into 'models' folder, then unzip it with winrar or 7zip

1:09 why is there only one ball, i mean like when he gets speed shoes and he goes at max speed he gets a ball as his feet, but theres actually two... u can see it in the intro that theres 2 of them, thats literally the only part u can see that lol
