Watching you peel the potatoes brought back so many memories. I am the youngest of 6 and it was one of my chores to peel potatoes. I peeled 10 lbs every other day after school. My sister cooked, I set the table and after dinner I cleared the table and either washed or dried the dishes. It was just a way of life that was just normal to us. The fur babies are just precious. You really do colour only part of a page before moving on I thought I was the only one that did that And yes more butter in the potatoes always makes it yummier Willow Berry was your first dog so she thinks she's the head of the doggos in your household that's why she's so bossy Max must comply !! If you can spare a couple prayers I go in for surgery on my adenoids on Thursday I have melanoma cancer the great idea TV already have surgery to remove the melanoma they don't think they got it all so they are going back in. Another request my nephew found his wife this morning passed away. She had cancer. She was only 48 has a seventeen-year-old son. I don't know where her faith was. How about you any prayer requests?

Sweet Willow is too cute for words, I love how she stalks Max when he has a toy. I think she is spoiled...lol. I have that same white,half moon strainer, I use it to drain grease when I brown hamburger. My mom taught me to keep a large can (like puréed tomatoes come) in the freezer, when it’s full of grease, I put it out like suet and I don’t clog my pipes.🙌🏻

Our Briar (boy) was a year in August and our little Sunny girl will be 12 in July. She’s big compared to Willow Berry and weighs a whopping 7lbs. They truly bring us joy and happiness. I love my fur babies. I love that lil tongue sticking out on Willow 20:55 So stinking cute. I’ve been enjoying coloring in books again but of course I’m getting numbness in my hand. Bad back and Fibromyalgia is just awful! Hope you are doing really well, Valerie and Tim. ☺️

I have a potato masher that was my Mom's. Just being only me in the household I buy Bob Evans brand mashed potatoes. My Mom also fried alot of what we called minute steaks......6 kids in the household and then she would also use them to make what we called swiss steak:) I am going to put cube (minute) steaks on my grocery list. I'm going to try making steaks that way, they look so good. I'm getting tired of making the same old meals all the time. I keep the potato skins and deep fry them then add seasoning salt,,,yummy, although I do use red potatoes, never tried it with whites. I love seeing your critters. Do your dogs like raw carrots? You are a great cook Valerie! Be careful using the fake butter in the tubs. It is very unhealthy for our bodies. I'm looking forward to trying the recipe for the cubed steak. Your furballs truly make all your videos! I do not know if you've ever tried making fried potato cakes out of leftover mashed potatoes but they are so good! In our house, we don't throw any food out. None. My husband has a compost pile out back for potato peelings, etc. Have a wonderful week!

Not sure what your 'fake' butter is, but butter is not good for you either, it contain saturated fats, and should not be eaten regularly. If your talking about margarine it is not bad for you. Margarine often tops butter when it comes to heart health. Margarine is a blend of oils that are mostly unsaturated fat. Butter is made from cream or milk. The type of fat found in animal products, such as cream, is mostly saturated fat.

MLT = I agree with your comment on the fake butter. God put cows on earth to give us butter, milk, and a whole lot of beef. Anything a man adds to these is fake. Others need to read the ingredients on the back of the fake butter containers and then read what is on a box of real butter.

My husband loves cubed steak! Yours looks delicious! I use the same seasoning blend you do. I took an empty spice container and put them all in one with the shaker top. Now all I have to do is sprinkle each piece once. What a time saver. Try it!!!
