Honestly beat boxer scaling with this quest is so much better but the direction of the game didn't allow that, you played what you got and got second. That's great
Well the Idea for best strategy here is what will gain you the most MMR. Beatboxer does way better, but skipping 2.5 turns going to 6 will kill you a lot of the time so I would say it's a much lower EV strategy.
@@Shadybunny2 Personally I always like waiting until the game lets you line up a triple, then levelling straight to 5 and praying :D Worst case is that it gives you access to a few additional economy options in most lobbies (Djinn, Magnetic Mech Deathrattle, Tethys etc.), which can let you get more triggers of cooked book. Probably not as reliable as the strategy you pulled for second place, but generally gives you decent odds so long as you checked nobody else is playing mechs.
Hi Shady, I know you have double my MMR and you have explained your strategy very clearly and calmly but I still think you made a mistake by not making the tavern tier a bigger number, everyone knows 6 is better than 3. Hope this helps.
to me the best strat for this quest is elems. you can cycle through tons of sellementals that it will boost that buff fast till the shop elems you buy that are buffed are extra buffed for final boards. once big, if mechs are in, then you can really get huge magnetics
It's a fairly flexible quest so long as you get some sort of economy engine running. Tethys, Elementals with Brann, Beatboxer with Gold Gen, and possibly even primalfin with triggers to fill your hand or a landlubber at low tiers. Mechs are just one of the best builds to take advantage of it into the lategame since magnetic lets things stack fast without needing to get goldens and keep cycling them like the other builds do.
Nah, mech is by far the best one to play with this quest. In fact its probably the only tribe you should ever pick this quest for. Even with infinite money you're still better off just buffing premium minions on your board instead of replacing it every turn. Minion quality matter a lot in the late game, not just stats.
You should probably up tavern 4 as soon as it cost 0 (or 1/2 if floating gold) since you got more chance to find a minion tavern 4 than tavern 3. I might be wrong, do not recheck since a long time but seems the same nowadays Great educational game neitherless !
@@ssmolder Again, it's a safe strat. His goal was to win MMR, not to risk winning MMR for the possibility of perhaps getting a 1st place. In any case, he's probably better than both of us, so going safe and consistent works for him.
He would have lost his advance going 6, then he would have rely in finding boxer to make it worth. (If you play enough, you know it's not that easy to find a specific minion ) Instead of playing greedy risking top 4/5, he played safe taking his 2
