In Manifesto, ECR is FantasyPros ECR? And appears that all QBs are rated based on 4pts per passing TD - correct? Any thoughts on which guys you would re-tier in 6pt?
Is the redraft rankings manifesto the Flock Fantasy one from Mason Dodd? I'm confused, because you guys are two different creators but the content seems shared. I'm new here, apologies
Just here to say that last years video helped me(a person with no prior fantasy football knowledge and a first time player) finish first in two separate leagues! One work league and one public league! Trust this man’s advice!
LADIES USE THIS STRAT. I implemented all you said last year and got 2nd place in a 10 man league. THE BOYS WERE PISSED. You bet im back again for more!
I got invited to join my brother-in-law’s fantasy football league this year, which includes many die-hard football fans. I panicked a little because I’ve never done this before and barely know any players - last year was my first time watching football somewhat consistently. I didn’t want to look like a complete n00b, so I did some research over the weekend and came across your video… I followed your strategy and - no joke - I’m projected to place first in the league, with a standing of 13-2 😮 I’m equally shocked and stoked!! Thank you so much for your help 🤗
@@FantasyStockExchange I totally understand that there’s a lot of uncertainty and so much can change, but it was nice to be taken seriously 😃 now they know I came to play! Anyway, thanks again 🙏🏻
Just coming back to fantasy after a 3 year break and watching no football cause life’s been crazy. This is exactly the video I needed. Thanks for all the great insight 👍
The last several years I picked a RB in my last 2 picks, because too many teams use the RB by committee, so I try to pick RBs that dominate their team. Then 2 WRs. Then I start thinking QB, but it all depends who is left and I figure who is my worst and best picks when my turn comes up again. I was in the playoffs every year and win it all last year! This our league’s 32nd year and I have won it all more than any other team.
Last year was my first year playing fantasy and watching football in 5+ years. I had Dak, Ceedee, J Chase, Bijan, and LaPorta. Scored the most seasonal points by over a hundred and made the playoffs as the last (6) seed because I played the best possible team every. single. week. Then got bounced in the first round, lost my matchup by less than 5 points while I had 40+ more points than the other matchup playing each other. 🙂
I had a similar problem. Had ceedee, kelce, mahomes, hall, achane, and more top guys and had the most points scored in the season but by far the most points scored against me. My schedule killed me
Thank you for your help! I'm a complete beginner in a 10 team league and got Love, Cook, Pacheco, Chase, Kupp, LaPorta, Higgins to start, and Coleman, Cooper, Dobbins, Friermouth, Jeudy, Polk, Spears, and Caleb Williams on bench. Now just have to watch the rest of your videos to figure out what to do from here 😅
Obviously everyone has differing opinions but I love how he talked about the risk of RBs being taken early and he drafted Achane round 2. He might be the absolute biggest risk with adp taken into account of any player this year. There’s no way he’s going to return that investment. Or at least should’ve drafted Wright to cover yourself. As a Miami fan people taking Achane that early make me laugh
@@FantasyStockExchange oh yeah I totally get that. Just in my opinion you’re RB2 is better than your RB1 so you kind of covered that anyways. I love me some Pacheco this year. I’d absolutely take Pacheco before Achane. Just from following Miami so closely having Wright on your team would be super beneficial. He’s underrated and might be the only healthy RB as the year goes on!
@FantasyStockExchange Achane isn't the starter.....he's a gadget player....and he gets hurt getting dressed.......he ran up huge numbers against a broncos defense that had given up in the Heat..........his ADP is ridiculously high......we'll see...maybe I'm wrong.
You know what? I SWEAR on my SOUL, this is the first time I'm watching him and I was waiting to see what he was going to do/say about Achane and as I'm here about to go to sleep waiting for him to get to the " meat and potatoes " of the video, I decided to look at the comments and saw ur comment and you're %100 on point, and he STILL hasn't gotten to the players, thanks bro!! Now I can move onto the next video. If you want REAL fantasy advice go to " The fantasy Headliners,"this guy talks too much!
Yeh, so that sample includes all WRs drafted in the top 36 - so it’s mainly a point against WRs in the middle of that range, Tyreeks such a freakshow you don’t typically see vets drafted this high and when they are it’s for a reason
Dowsey! I've always loved your content and VERY MUCH respect your viewpoints and perspective on the game! My heart was broken when you left.. but I completely understand the reasons.. needless to say.. SO FRIGGIN hyped that you're back! You look great, the break was good for you... NOW NEVER LEAVE US AGAIN! Thank you for everything you've given us... Much love and respect from Detroit MICHIGAN USA!
I was lucky last year I didn't really prep much just went off my knowledge and personal scouting and won 5 of 6 leagues and lost one league in the championship less than a point. I drafted Kyren and Puka in every single one of them pretty early but it worked
Your right about how one player might do you in. Last season had Tua, Barkley, Eckler, Lamb, Pacua, La Porta, Tucker and used various D/ST. Thanks for your channel.
I followed your advice all last year (love NFL but never really played Fantasy much) and won one of my leagues and finished as the highest scoring team in another (ironically I missed the playoffs even scoring 400pts more than the last playoff guy).
As TEs become a mismatch weapon they’ll rise in the points rankings. Last year I took Kelce early second, Hock in like the late 6th, and then LaPorta later. They became a huge commodity.
Yeah to me that's way too much investment into that position I'd be fine taking an early one to prioritize them, then taking swings late on super high upside guys like LaPorta and selling them high, but imo you overinvested in that position and kinda just got lucky they all hit for you
@FantasyStockExchange Most definitely and it's a 10 man league as well. While the others who will be taking QB's early. I'll be loading up with starting WR's. And here's a humble opinion. The Packers will have the highest scoring offense this season.
Watching this after my Saturday draft and glad we share so many strategies and opinions. I drafted at #2 in my 12 man ppr. First 7 picks were: Hill Drake London Isiah Pacheco Alvin Kamera Trey Mcbride Keenan Allen Dak Prescott
RB strategy isn't about not taking RBs early because many fail ... you have to pick 2 early you think will not fail and live with it. You can't expect to pick up late round diamonds or expect to have the right priority to grab the 1-2 obvious RB waiver wire pick ups.
In FAAB formats u can dedicate a large portion of ur budget to RB like I do and you're not expecting to hit on all ur late round guys ur hoping to hit on maybe 1 or 2 to go along with ur Hero or Double Hero start
@FantasyStockExchange when you are in a 12 person league with 2rb slots, you have to take whatever RB is available whenever they are available, because once the draft comes back to you, you're basically screwed anyways
Drafting running backs early and often can create immense trade value and you can fold up teams when their backs get hurt. Theres tons of wr talent all over the board in my opinion
I loved this video! Great advice man! I have a quick question! I am in a family/friend league, in which the people in my league aren’t that great at fantasy, but the scoring is a lot different! The scoring for WR/RB/TE is similar to the usual, but the defenses average around 20 points each week, if they do what is projected. The defensive players average anywhere between 5-10+ points each week. (For example, TJ watt had around the same points last year as Zay Flowers) The kickers average around the same as the defensive players, with Brandon Aubrey having more points, only 1-2 points more than Devon Achane & Rashee Rice. The QBs average 40-50 each week, here’s the scoring for the QBs: +1 point/completion -1 point/incompletion 1 point/per 25 yards thrown +4 points/Pass TD +6 points/Rush TD -1/ INT +1 point/ per 10 yards rushed Thank you for the advice! It’s just this scoring is nuts lol, what do you think I should do as my draft strategy with this scoring?
Yeah that's some wonky scoring settings my man, in this league I would highly suggest prioritizing an elite QB in the top 8-10 of ADP (So ending at Love/Dak/Murray area). I don't play much IDP but definitely weave those guys in when u can & the kickers, just aim for good offenses and good kickers if possible, I wouldn't be taking them highly tho, I feel confident investing in the kicker for the breakout offense of the year will do just fine in the last round of the draft
This will be my first year playing fantasy league with some serious fans and they needed a filler for their league, they truly think I will be the easy W for them. So im trying to be the suprise challenger that they underestimated. 😅
I would like to say, Tee Higgins (Bengals Offensive efficiency) worries me this season. Joe Burrow's injury may linger as the season progresses. However, I have found my favorite sports analyst on this channel. Appreciate the hard work put into the videos! - Joe Burrow Stan
Great stuff , the man’s done his work well here, appreciate it . Anthony Richardson the round you took Higgins for me was a miss, but Daniels might end up panning out instead. Loved your draft strat overall thought
Love the work brotha you are my go to fantasy guide! Quick question: 10 man ppr 1 keeper I’m keeping Jamar in the 2nd. I have 4th pick. If Bijan falls to me I’ll take but if not it’s gonna be puka, JT or Harrison jr. Thoughts on who to take?
There’s at least 5 great ones last year alone 1. kyren and achane were RB1s widely available - Jerome ford, Zack Moss, Gus Edwards, Chuba Hubbard, D’Onta foreman, Devin Singletary, Khalil, Spears, Keaton Mitchell all RB2s and 3s
@@FantasyStockExchange it’s just about grabbing value since others are skipping them. For example I think Saquon is going way later than he should, same with Achane, James Cook and Rachaad White.
If I’m high I’m the draft top 4 I usually go rb rb unless the draft dictates otherwise I’ve been burnt but still done well in leagues with hand cuffs and such then go wr wr wr but I’ll try some your way
Running backs and WRs in an abundance. QBs in the middle rounds. TE isn't essential for me but they're solid until round 10. DST is volatile and dont chase after them. Kicker im looking for dome kickers late. Otherwise, im for wide receivers for the meat of my roster.
10 man PPR keeper league. Won last year, so have spot 10. Keeping Chase and hall. Other RBs being kept are Henry, Kyren, Achane, and Barkley. Take RB at turn or go hero rb?
I think these are the guys who are going to win you leagues this year Anthony Richardson, Bijan Robinson, jamar chase,Kyle Pitts, (breece hall and Garett Wilson possibly as well.)
Jonathan Taylor Nick Chubb Dalvin Cook Aaron Jones Josh Jacobs Cam Akers Najee Harris Miles Sanders Jamaal Williams Alexander Mattison Austin Ekeler All duds a year ago
I just don't like forcing picks for positional need. I'm taking bpa in the early to mid rounds then prioritizing weaknesses with high upside darts and waiver wire.
I’d say it depends on how ur league typically drafts because getting Breece as my Hero RB and then pounding WR would be very enticing but one of the top 2 or st brown would be nice as well
This helped tremendously, I’ve also got the 3rd pick in a 12 team ppr home league. Love going some combo of hill/lamb, etienne/olave/aiyuk, and pacheco/kupp with my first three picks. I also am able to often stack Jayden Reed with love with i hope i can do on draft day, as well as picking up Ferguson/njoku, or even friermuth later if I can’t grab one of those two. Chase brown and dobbins as late rbs, and then wicks, Demario Douglas, and now Mooney since rondale Moore is out for the year, as late receivers. I’m very excited to draft in a couple weeks!!
@@mikee702 he’s gonna get peppered with targets. I could see him being top 5 in targets as long as he and Carr stay healthy. Offense isn’t great so td upside is obviously limited, but I’m more than happy with him as my wr2
For standard 12 Team H2H ESPN you better get yourself 3 RB in your first 5 picks. You can almost always find a WR2 or weekly play on the waiver. RB not so much.
Great content. Thank you! You have Tyreek Hill as a “sketchy veteran” in blue but also a “prime WR1” in green. Couple others as well IE Mike Evans (multiple colors). Perhaps I misunderstood?
Yes sorry for the confusion, the first chart is the archetype of the player so “prime WR1”, Trusty vet etc. the 2nd chart is from the “Finding the next league winning WR” linked in the video description where I grade the players on a micro level based on there situational and volume factors
I am tempted to grab henry in the first round no matter what draft pick I have, not going to lie. I thin he is going to have a great year with Baltimore.
Best player available my man, ideally you leave with 1 or 2 RBs, & 1 or 2 WRs Best case you can grab Tyreek/Breece or chase in that order at 4 Round 2 swing back for Achane, Aiyuk, Nico, Deebo or waddle & round 3 any of those guys + Kupp, Etienne, Pacheco
At 18:20 it shows your settings as being able to put a QB in your flex spot. Could you re do this with the proper league settings? Qb was not realistic in this.
The adp was for 1QB I just accidentally changed one of the flex spots to a Superflex in our last mock, didn’t make a difference in how the cpu drafted a ton just those two teams, I probably just get tua instead of Daniels and the rest of my team is the same
I will literally say, this I won 9 or 10 of my 16 leagues last season with West Coast players. However, I will say Baltimore is looking quite good this year, and with how I played last season planned out, I'm predicting that east coast may be the go to this year because josh jacobs being in green bay. I think you can get a lot of value out of the East Coast teams this year.
Great vid, one thing i notice is the QBs are very spread out in this mock. I find in my leagues QBs often go much more clustered with really concentrated runs. And the adps on the platform we draft on have the top 7 or so guys all going fairly so im aiming to start the QB run this year.
Do you use draft software? I've used Fantasy Pros for years but looking for something better. This year I am even considering just using their ADP during draft.
Yeh in your spot it makes a ton of sense to secure Breece or Bijan as a hero, maybe if a good one falls back in round 2 or 3 but regardless skip over the deadzone until u have 7-8 players selected and then beginning attacking RBs again
I’m from NY so breece is definitely gonna be gone by 6 since theres 3 jets fans picking before me. You think Bijan is a better pick than Amon or chase if they fall? I was probably gonna try for etn for my second pick
I have the 1.03 this year in my league too, basically same league rules except only 1 flex for us. Basically drafting the exact team you have in all my my mocks haha. You can see where I get my info from I guess
Love the videos - any advice from a draft strategy perspective for someone entering a 3 man keeper league? I’ll essentially have three picks in a row from the non keeper pool (excluding top 30 players or so) and then the rest of the draft will go as normal. Any suggestions on strategy or what I should target?
@@FantasyStockExchange I won't have any - I'm taking over a new team. The top 30 players or so are kept by all of the other existing teams, so I was just wondering if you had any thoughts on roster construction or positions to target when you're starting from behind like that. Thanks!
