I have one as well. Bought it as a treat to myself when I retired in 2017. Always wanted a Hank Marvin fiesta red strat. Came complete with case and for the price I paid just £700 it is incredible.
Just come across this video. I have this guitar, it's identical to the one I would stare at in the music shop window in the early 60's, I have many many other guitars, some vintage, but there's something very special about this one, I love it, especially with the old style Fender case that it comes in.
Don't let the fake news scare you lol ok I have a 1968 strat had it for years bought it from an old guy that wore a cowboy belt buckle messup the back but nice guitar . clean it up.set it up . Great . Ok I seen a strat online for $151.00 free shipping. I thought what the heck I bought it yes took two months to arrive but wow .yes need set up better strings .played it it fantastic so I sent the guy a message said wow this is even nicer than my,68 real fender guitar he said it is a real fender guitar. I said huh he said yes it is real but I asked him how can he sell a real fender guitar for this cheep .he said ok we have a 0 min wage so we can get them real cheap .he said he bought it fender USA custom shop for $39.00 free shipping. They shipped it to him he changed the shipping label payed $20.00 to ship to me.so he made $100.00 just changing hands I called customs to confirm this because it says fender USA on the head . They said they could not stop a fender made guitar from being shipped back to the USA. Believe it or not .

@@jimmyfranklin look believe what you want but go watch steinburger son . he's got a new line of steinburger guitars out but if you remember gibson bought out the steinburger line back in the early 90s but when gibson filed bankruptcy they lost the rights to any patons of them. And two lol I've talked to alot of guitar manufacturing companies in Japan and south Korea. All stating that the lie of chibson was gibson them self .look up on google or any browser you want . Put location of chibson guitar manufacturing. It takes you straight to gibson what they did was back when china started selling gibson guitars on ebay gibson desided to change the name on guitars they sent to china to chibson then the sellers in china filed a law suit on gibson. And soon after gibson lost millions of dollars to china from the law suit they filed for bankruptcy. Believe it or not. Chibson guitar is a gibson guitar lol .yes some are fake les paul but any fool can look at a picture and tell
Having played pre CBS versions i say these are very good and close, the post 2015 Mexican made necks are some of the best players out there, this neck is not a C like on a 58 or 59 but is sort of a shallow soft v, I prefer a C neck but these Mex ones really work for me and the vintage frets help.
Classic 50s Strat. Last ones made before Vintera Series. 56 AVRI pickups. Just picked one up in mint shape for $640 shipped. Looks like the Hank Marvin Strat. Similar to a Jimmie Vaughan Strat but much better pickups.

I have to say I went for a very long time with out knowing Hank .... but when I did get hip I learned I already " knew " him because he has inspired so many others and their style and sound. Mark Knopfler , Andy Summers come to mind . I think is lack of popularity may be due to the fact he's from the UK but still very, very influential and shamefully underappreciated.

Mine is fiesta red SSS and it isn't in red and gold, it's all red and silver? I saw the gold version but I wanted the silver only because I'm a huge fan of Mike Oldfield, it was closest to his Strat he used throughout his stage performances . It's like a dream. Anyway, I'm guessing they made it in both colours? Great vid btw! 🎉
Shit I just settled on a seafoam green maple neck strat but my first choice would have been this fiesta red and the high gloss board is so sick! The whole reason I wanted a strat is because I seen a dude online with a classic vibe squier fiesta red and it looked and sounded amazing.. the only fiesta red ones I saw where used USA strays for like 2 gs.. I wish I would’ve seen this video last week before I settled on this mim surf pearl fsr with maple neck… 😞

My first video ... nervous. I’m a very competent rhythm-guitarist and play everything in my records. However, I need a lead-player when rehearsal is something we can do again 😷 I will go through some demos next week. Maybe play a solo on something for me?
The Player Strats normally have that horrible 2 point bridge and 22 frets. Is this not a classic player? It was replaced by the much improved Vintera series. I bought a mint 2005 classic player Strat in fiesta but it was a pig and I sold it on. Didn’t sound great, couldn’t set it up the way I wanted it. The Noventas are better. I bought the fiesta Red Tele.
