Sharing Quest content is tough because the visuals on a RU-vid video can never match the immersion of VR, even if it does look like N64. Once you put a headset on, the graphics are nearly irrelevant. Regardless the visuals, TACVR has a TON going for it. Oh and there are surprisingly deep customization and weapon options... I just didn't figure it out until after this session 🤣. More to come.

Glad to see a big-name cover this, been playing and making videos on TACVR for a while now, multiplayer is really good if you ever want to jump in...I agree visually on RU-vid its tough, but it plays so well. The dev is a solo developer and is absolutely awesome.

To use the bolt release, hold onto the magwell and hit the top button on the offhand. Also, the loadout is where you change your kit. Over your shoulder is a large utility and everything else can be learned through messing around in the sandbox. Multiplayer is also very usefull, especially for the other two maps.

As a guy who regularly plays TA VR, I got some tips you can use. 1. Pieing is SUPER effective in this game. 2. always check your ammo after a engagement. Reloading can be clunky at times, which leads to slow reloading. 3. Breach charges and flashes work beautifully in this game. You can also use the door camera if you want.

Lol! I was just playing TAVR and then I took my headset off, hopped on RU-vid and here you are posting about it! Jarvis has really been polishing this game since I played it last. Very excited to see what else he does with it. I’m not sure if you know, but if you grab the receiver so that your thumb is covering the bolt catch/release you can click one of the buttons on your off hand with your thumb to depress the bolt catch and send the bolt home. Pretty cool reload mechanic.

Im sure you know this, but you can equip your chosen load out before starting a raid. so you can add sights and attachments to your rifle. great video, have been loving this game!

Yo, Pairs.. if you are getting more into this VR realm, you might wanna check out some Gun Stocks.. having some resistance feedback in the controllers and against your shoulder massively helps with the immersion and aim stability. Also, some Pro Straps, so you can let go of the controllers but not drop them. Love the content - as always bro!!

If there's one thing Tactical Assault taught me, it's don't reload after every kill, you WILL lose all of your ammo. Only reload if its near gone or gone.

I just picked this game up on quest 2. I like it but I have some gripes. I'm constantly grabbing stuff off my chest, either my knife or grenade when I'm simply trying to pick up a dropped mag, gun, or knife. There's also glitches. Never run with your weapon touching a wall. I've had a wall eat both my rifle and my pistol. Aside from those oddities, pretty fun game. Only played a little of solo. It'd be great to have the weapons and ammo automatically stored on you when you hit start.

Just got the game played some matches solo loving it worth the buy , played 1 multiplayer match teamate was a kid we cleared most of the silo and he glitched and lost his ak and bounced into the ceiling. Dont know how to activate nvgs and still trynna get used to the hammer.

The AI runs if you shoot them and they have pretty realistic “movement” not in where they go but just the animation is nice, but other than that they kind of just stand there sometimes

What makes this better than onward? Is it the physics? Gameplay seems the same but much more limited and with worse visuals (I know they don't matter as much but still) IMO Onward has more intensity with great sound effects and even simulating suppression when under fire

The AI aren't very dangerous at range but they'll destroy you in CQB. It actually feels like a nice balance.

If you want red outside and equipments and stuff I recommend you gone to the single player and then instead of going to sandbox the one underneath that is where you choose the loadout and it was 4 times as much as you want basically after 12 time scope

I love and hate that they brought the game to quest, I always wanted to play a game like it but only have a quest BUT, a bunch of 10 yr olds have quests which means that all my public lobbies are kids literally asking their parents for PB and Js, absolutely destroys any immersion, especially when they play it like Call Of Duty and stir everything up, which ruins the mission and gets everyone killed.

I would like to mention though that very rarely you get a good lobby, about once in every 30 lobbies I join I get in a game with someone on the dev team or just fans of the game that know how to play and help teach you the ropes, even though I started playing the week the game came out on quest I still am not a genius so getting in a game with nice people who will genuinely try on the mission or give some pointers is always sweet.
