Funny thing is when they use this tank they don't tend to move too much but using that HEAT is not a good idea because it's not the HEATFS so it's less accurate at long range but APDSFS is somewhat capable of penetrating but against things with compost armour then yea... The HEAT won't do anything also the tank has an auto cannon 😂
Heat is worse in every way. Inconsistent post pen damage, bad on composite, the APFSDS is actually the main reason why it’s at this BR and not lower, you should defo play the dart and you will one shot everything
Brother, using heat at 8.7 instead of 360 pen apfsds? Are you mad? If you cannot consistently kill things at 8.7 with almost 400pen dart, its 100% skill issue. There is not one thing in the game that you cannot frontaly kill with one shot of that round. It is a sniper tank, so positioning and no peaking on the move. Lowering sensitivity should help you get more consistent with aiming at weak spots too, its almost like tryin to click heads in cs, but the head is in diffrent sizes and places, kinda. When you are all jittery and jumpy with the aim, it aint happening. The biggest problem of the tank is not having stabilizer, so poor positioning is the main punisher.
I do actually have that tank spaded and yeah I chose to use heat to make it interesting. And yes, dart ammo is better in this instance since these tanks don't have a lot of spalling not a lot of composite armour (except in uptiers) but even if I struggle with the shittier heat it's more of a skill issue, and I'd rather use the worse ammo to get out of my comfort zone and practice.
@@DerriStudios6969 Why would you like to practice a round that is not used over 8.0 like every tank uses darts in top tier, you will not improve by using an inconsistent shell because it will troll you by hitting fuel tanks and tracks, but nothing else
I play a lot of top tier atm and I feel like I know what i am doing with dart ammo, but I'm not really familiar with heat ammo, so I thought I'd give it a go.
@@DerriStudios6969 Then that would be a better idea to play the regular AMX 30 which has only the heat honestly ! You’d have more results and enjoyment
